Is there a way to make a Mech load out appear on the buying screen? I don't see it there and usually have to refer to my TRO'S or Mech Factory on my phone. Thanks

Not in the "Store" tab, but you can see loadout in the mechlab, and you can buy mechs in the mechlab.

Change the pull-down at the top from "owned" to "purchasable" and you'll see every mech available. Mouseover for an info brief, or select the mech and hit mech details for a complete loadout.

Thanks! Took me a minute but found the tab. That helps a lot!

No sweat. I just use Mechlab to buy mechs, visit the store only if you need prem time, bays, etc. :)

Will do. That makes it easier then. Was thinking maybe some MC but still debating

Don't be afraid to plan out your purchase in advance to make sure you are getting what you really want. Smurphy is a great site to do this with.

If I decide to take a break from the game for a while (not planning on it. just a question/theory), does my ELO go down over time from inactivity?

Not that I am aware of.

Few more questions: How do you earn more gxp or does it slowly go up as you continue playing? Didn't see gxp listed in player stats at the end of matches so it left me wondering.

I see on my Kit Fox that I have 0 of six internal heat sinks in the engine. I know that can change but how do I do it? Saw it done in an old video by Total biscuit but that was a different interface then.
Thanks

You earn GXP passively as you play. It's gained in addition to the XP you earn at a rate of 5%. Whenever you earn XP, you're earning GXP. You may also use MC to transfer mech XP from a mech into more GXP.

The Kit Fox has a 180 engine. This has 7 built-in heatsinks and requires 3 additional heatsinks outside the engine. (this forms your required minimum 10 heat sinks. every mech needs 10 minimum).

All Clan Mechs can't change the engine and cannot modify any additional slotted engine heat sinks.

If you have an Inner Sphere mech with an engine 275 or larger it will have slots for adding extra internal heatsinks.

Thanks for that info. I knew they had the 10 H'S but wanted to make sure there wasn't some thing that I missed.

The 0-6 display is only referring to additional heatsinks that you could include in an engine, if your engine rating allows for it. it is not reflective of the limit on the actual engine installed.

I apologize if this is not very short as I will try my best to make it brief.

As short as possible; friendly 'mech looks like ECM'd enemy 'mechs do, invisible on map and untargetable.

Now to explain, I know what an ECM'd enemy looks like, you just see a 'mech, no map and no target. Well I noticed some friendly 'mechs that look just like this, the only way I know it is a friendly is because we are marching to the same objective and shooting the same enemies.

Is there some module I am missing or is this a bug?

Again, sorry for the length of this question.

If I haven't messed up, there should be an example picture below.

Friendly mech looks like enemy mech under Ecm? That's a bug. I've gotten it once that was memorable. I nearly teamkilled a friendly. I shot him repeatedly but he didn't shoot back then i moved closer and a blue triangle appeared! He was mad that I had stripped all his CT armor. I appologized repeatedly in chat saying he didn't have IFF showing and I thought he was an enemy.

The only time that mechs should appear the same is when a friendly is powered down. But you stated that you were all going to the same objective. If the problem persists send a support ticket. Personally, I haven't seen this particular bug in a very long time.

there is the bug where one of your teammates doesn't show up on the map or with a triangle unless he is in LoS of a friendly. It seems to be in every match, and is randomly one of your teammates. This other bug could be related somehow, but is rare in my experience. Like I said, I only noticed it once and that was a couple months ago.

Yeah that's pretty much what I was getting, except the triangle does not seem to appear, in an earlier match I got a 'mech's distance away and no triangle.

I have only seen this happen in 2-3 matches, around two matches apart from each other, the third encounter I am not sure if it was really a teammate or an enemy. Also I have only seen this happen today, not sure if it will continue though.

This would make sense about what I saw, but a few days ago I never noticed a "invisible" teammate.

I would like to thank everyone who replied to my post, even though it was fairly long (I think it was anyway).

If I encounter this bug in the future I will be sure to send a ticket.

I've been on both ends of that bug. Thankfully, I didn't shoot the friendly when I was seeing no triangle, since it was the start of the game and he hadn't left that area yet, but I did get TK'd by some dude who didn't have the presence of mind to ask himself why I was looking right at him and not shooting back, or why I was launching LRMs at the enemy team before that. Kinda sucked.

I've had some very embarassing moments where I've opened fire on a mech with no targetting triangle, only to find after he was an ally. It's a relatively common bug, unfortunately.
