Their support is generally very good - they've just got a lot on their plate right now. (If you weren't aware, PGI (the developers of the game) and IGP (the publisher of the game) have gone their separate ways, and PGI is now self-publishing the game. This change just happened very recently, and its set support back a little bit, as support had been handled by IGP, and is now done in-house at PGI).

There are no restrictions like that that I am aware of. Your "rookie" status means that you can only post to certain parts of the Forums, but it shouldn't be affecting your ability to submit a ticket. Might be a bug. If you haven't, you can try e-mailing them directly from your personal e-mail account (support@mwomercs.com) - just be sure to include your Pilot name and the e-mail address linked to your account, with a description of your problem (such as the time and date of the purchase you're having an issue with).
Edit: It seems like others are having the same problem with support tickets, so it's not just you: http://mwomercs.com/...mit-new-ticket/

The system as a whole is under a lot of extra strain right now, and it has not been working smoothly for the past few weeks.
Russ Bullock advised everyone to wait a day to give any payments a chance. Anyone waiting longer than they to get their Clan Pack 2 preorder was advised to send Russ a PM.
The ticket system on the website seems to have been broken ever sine the server migration. Feel free to directly email to support@mwomercs.com to generate a ticket.
Best of luck!

I'm embarrased to ask this, but what does the crosshair on the aiming reticle turning red means? Not the missile lock, but the actual cross or in the case of clanners the X.

^What he said, but a little more info that I feel is important. The red indicator means it's a confirmed hit by the server. The whole game is server authoritative. When you factor in lag between players, you could shoot and miss another player because he wasn't actually were he appeared to be on your screen due to latency. There are systems in place to mitigate this ("Host state rewind" or HSR), but you may at times think you hit with a clear shot, but the server says no because the other player may have moved beyond that point when you actually shot. Anyway, if it turns red, that means regardless of what you saw or did not see, the server saw that as a confirmed hit.

Make sure you read this http://mwomercs.com/...77#entry3740477 especially the parts regarding turning off paypal two-factor authentication and PMing Jon if you are having trouble with other payments not going through.

What is loyalty points? How do I get in a Faction, or should I at this point/wait?
By picking a Faction a player is said to earn Loyalty points, but that has been kept hidden and is not publicly known if that will be used. But we were told that points are being accumulated, just not visible.
There was some stuff like Medallions that are supposed to increase the % gain.
So, for now, we don't need to worry about it, but keep it in mind for when we learn more and/or get a chance to ask a dev that can tell us more.

There's a picture icon with a little tree on a green background. Next to the blue < > symbol.
Click that. Post the Direct Link of the image into that.
It becomes a picture in your text. Continue as normal.

you will need to purchase it again, there is a tick box to auto refill, but if you have a poor match and use 2 consumables you would be paying more on the refill than you earn.

Thx.
In relation to forums in general, what does it mean when someone replies with "Bump"?

As people reply to other threads, threads with no recent replies slowly get buried(go down) on the front page. It's a (shameless) way to bring the topic to top for more attention.

Before there was the checkbox for auto-refil, the testing grounds did NOT use the consumable.
I don't think this changed, so it should not spend it at all in TG.
Test it once with checking your money, or unchecking the checkbox for autorefil to be sure
