I'm almost 100% certain that you only get the "Locked Target" assist, when you yourself have a missile lock held on the target.

Not aware of it. Are you certain you are reading the doll correctly? Did this happen just once, or many times?

First I should ask this: is the doll read as if the mech is facing you?

I have saved more than a few examples for this occasion:

Before I give ten situations, this is the perfect picture, for you to tell me what the doll is reading. In my current belief, it shows the left arm as destroyed.

Your own mech (lower left) is shown as if you sit in it. Left is Left (as you can see as the L is on the left and the R is on the right).
Your target (top right) is shown as if facing you, notice the R is on the left and the L is on the right here.
And the targets rear armor is shown as if facing away from you (so you can shoot the back). Thats why L is Left and R is Right :)

Do you see the small L and R beside the mech paper doll? Right arm destroyed. It does not show your mech doll as if you were looking at it, it shows the doll from your own POV. YOUR right arm on the right, YOUR right-rear on the right, and labeled L & R.

As for your enemy, it also shows L and R in case you were confused, because the enemy paper doll is shown as if you ARE looking at it from the front, right arm on the left.

Doubleclick to select? Then it should show a flashing prompt in the box for a key press.

Nothing official yet, I think.

But from playing my Tag-light with my lrm buddy, we think that the Lock target bonus is for the (first) lock-on-weapon hitting the (maybe tagged) target to complement the old Tag/Narc bonus.
Not sure about the brackets.

That may be...I've only noticed it on far away targets, so may have missed the Tag etc as when they are close, I usually trying to bug out or at least try to waddle away (ie Kit fox/Catapult).

Sorry if there's been an influx of these questions since the new IS Mech Pack was announced, but here goes:

I've purchased:
-An ala. Cart Nova Pack

And I plan on purchasing the top tier IS Reinforcement Pack just announced.

Does this get me the King Crab when it comes out?

Requirement for the King Crab is ordering a top tier from one of the packages
You order the top tier for the new pack - you get the King Crab
(Which was, in fact, a large part of the reason for the new pack ;))

It would be neat if I could set the target status display to be reversed in the settings since I am nearly always behind my target. Of course, I've been using this one so long now that it'd probably mess me up.

Is there an easy way to find what mechs have what modules loaded? Sometimes i spend forever searching..

No clue why when you hover over the mech in the lab, it does not show it under loadout.. Wish it did. But does this info exist some place else and easy to read?

Instead of going into the Mechlab, use the Inventory tab that's on the homepage of the UI. Then look at the Battlemech tab of the Inventory, click on each one, and it'll tell you what modules are installed in the readout on the right side. Just click through one at a time. It's a lot easier than looking at the loadouts in the Mechlab. The only thing here is that 'Mechs that can not be sold (like Founders (F), Phoenix (P) and Invasion (I) 'Mechs) are not listed in the inventory, so those you have to check in the mechlab.

There are a lot less of those though - making it somewhat easier to dig through.

Edit: well... for me there are a lot less - others, I wouldn't know

Not these two.
If you go to Smurfy here: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/equipment
you can see that UAC20 and AC20 have the same group under "Heat penalty per weapon" as "weapon_heatscale_linked_9".
You can use LBX together with other LBX or UAC20 without extra heat.

No, they're linked. You can find out information about this here: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...eapon_heatscale

Question about Streaks and optimal performance. Thinking of putting them in the new Atlas but since I would imagine its hard to get and keep a lock on a light in a Assault, curious to know what upgrades etc would be best.

Thinking BAP for ECM obviously and quicker lock times as well?

Second thought was is the Artemis bug still around ie quicker lock times.

Lastly the Adv. Target Decay module to hold the lock as they treat me like a stripper pole while they turn me into one. :P

A lot of it I cannot help with - but this I can comment on

It CAN be tricky - depending on how the light plays

Atlas can turn fast enough to maintain the lock if most lights try to "circle of death you" IF your arm-lock is turned off.

I do not tend to mount streaks on mine - but I frequently use LPL in my arms to great effect against lights.
