I have 3 Hunchbacks, with the Basic Efficiencies unlocked on all of them. If I only plan on using one variant, can I sell back the other two once I get my Elite efficiencies on the main one?

Phrased another way, is there any reason to advance beyond Basic efficiencies for mech variants I don't plan on using?

Well, do you have any other mediums through elite? That's the thing. You have to get three variants of a chassis through basic, buy you have to get three per weight class through elite to unlock master level. So if they're your first mediums, you'll need to elite all three.

Also, which three HBKs do you have? Most players would suggest keeping the 4G and 4P at the very least.

I have a 4H, 4P, and 4SP. I only have the 4H upgraded at the moment, and it'd take several million C-bills to outfit the other two; far more than I currently have, and that also rules out getting modules or other mechs (I'm rather poor, obviously).

I'd suggest not selling then so soon. Even if you are poor you may find you rather like the others after getting through elites. I would recommend that you don't sell any mechs before then even if you don't need them. If you still hate them after double basics are unlocked then sell them if you wish.

Is there any variant of the Vindicator works well (as PPC skirmisher) ? that damn thing is sexy, I see some people doing well with it, but most dont and there are so many negative feedback about it. If I haven't read those bad opinions about the vindi, I would have bought one already

They can still zombie okay if you are twisting and moving, but they are also more XL friendly too. I've been running my AH with an XL 250 for example.

Between the and A and AL, it's a matter of Hardpoint preference. Do you want a ballistic arm and three Missile Hardpoints or do you rather try the Energy and Missile?

Also the AL can run 3 LL, ER LL or LPL and fire without Heat Scale (Ghost Heat) Penalties, so that's one thing to keep in mind.

My favorite has been the AA, Avenging Angel. I run it with a Standard 225, 3 MLs and one LPL and I do fine as a Skirmisher / Flanker, so it can easily run a PPC instead too, but with the arm hardpoints below the Cockpit, you tend to expose too much of your mech, but you could snipe from the side, just be wary of snipe over top of cover.

Translating it back, I noticed Russian to English literally does the same thing most Russians do. Drop the grammatical word "the" (and some other linking words). I'm surprised it didn't drop "a".

Most fluent with Spanish (can read it straight). Japanese can speak/pick up but my grammar is horrible. Cantonese is a lovely side effect of having been an online actor for a thing called "English City."

Hey guys, my question is, will the Gargoyle C right arm omnipod be released? I made a build on smurfy with the gargoyle C right arm, and I bought the Gargoyle D, but the C variant right arm isn't an omnipod option. I know the Gargoyle C is available for mc, is that why? When it becomes available for c-bills, will I be able to get the right arm omnipod?

You need to buy it from the website Gift store for now. It will release in the future, I gotta double check when though.

I want to buy a third Jagermech variant.
But when i press the 'buy' button. I to buy with c-bills this comes up:

"You need to purchase a addtional mechbay"

How do i do this?

I have 4 mechs. Two spiders and two Jagers.

I though you got a extra mechbay with purchasing a mech alone? Edit: I sold one of my spiders. Frustated that you need to buy a Mechbay with MC in order to get a extra mech.

there are several ways to get a Mechbay,
you can buy them with MC,

you can earn them in Comunity Warfare (the second facrion rank for each faction gives a free Mechbay),

there is an event this week, 30 points (match score) and you can claim a prize here:

the prizes include Mechbays, it may take up-to half an hour for the page to register your match.
there are events offering Mechbays at least once a month on average

for a long time the only way to get Mechbays was MC, however now that it is possible to get them for free regularly there is no need to spend any money ever on MWO, you could play completely for free and the only things you would be unable to get are cosmetic, early access or time saving in nature.

at current you have to pay to change your Mechs camo patten,
purchase most colours ^{(there are I think 6 colours available for cbills)}
purchase most cockpit items ^{(occasionally available as part of an event)}
purchase hero Mechs ^{(special variants with unique hardpoints, a unique cammo, and a 30% cbill earning boost, different but not better than regular Mechs, in several cases the Hero is the worst variant)}
purchase Premium time ^{(gives a cbill and xp bonus, as well as being necessary for most options in private matches)}
Purchase Champion Mechs ^{(a modification of a standard varient with most of the upgrades already done and a 30% xp bonus, you can make identical Mechs without spending anything)}
get stuff 2-3 months before it goes on sale for cbills.

as far as I can see there is no paywall in this game.

Mech bays are relatively cheap as well.
