Also, type msconfig.exe in CMD, go Startup, and let yourself be surprised. Remove what do You not need.
Adobe is notorious for its update service...

That's why I recommend CCleaner. Same result, but can also scan the registry for outdated entries etc.

Recently picked up a Warhawk Prime, and found I enjoyed it's (modified) stock ERPPC weapon loadout more than the Pulse lasers people seem to swear by.

However, I notice that Chain fired ERPPCs do not register hits on the same target if fired quickly one after another. This suggests I need to basically group my shots in two.

How long is the delay before another shot registers?

Yeah, this has been a problem for me for some time. I'd wait at least a full second between firing groups of two. I don't know what it is, but it seems like getting hit with a PPC makes PPCs stop working on the target for about a second to a second and a half sometimes. I don't know how many times I'll hit someone dead-on and get no flash.

It's kind of why I don't use PPCs on really anything except Panthers that are quirked for them now. Pulse lasers are where it's at.

was there any word from staff, that mech Kodiak is in plan ?

not on the Kodiac specifically, however in one of the town hall meetings (Feburary 2015) Russ (head of PGI) said we could see some of the IIC Mechs (Clan Battlemechs, currently the only Clan Mechs are omnimechs) by the end of the year, as a lot of IIC designs are based on Unseen Mechs (mechs which were licensed from the Japanese creators for use in Battletech but were later licensed from someone else for use in Robotech for which Haromany Gold claims US rights to there image, an origional dispute was resolved out of court, and Battletech aggreed to not use those Mechs again in there original forms, since then Battletech owners have been unwilling to take it to court to get access to those designs) because of this there is only 1 IIC assualt Mech PGI can use the Highlander IIC (and that only has 1 timeline relevant variant), so we can hope that Clan wave 4 will include the Kodiac, as that does have enough varients and it is a much more popular Mech than the Highlander IIC

I believe on the forums they mentioned that the IIC mechs will be the very last clan mechs for them to add. The sequence is:

Front line -> Second line & Garrison -> IIC

you could be right, it is quite possible they have mentioned that it will not happen this year on the forums before or after but in the Feburary town hall Russ definitely mentioned that the IIC Mechs were possible this year, and there are no IIC Assualt Mechs with enough time line relevant variants which are not based on Unseen Mechs, so if there is a Clan Battlemech pack the Kodiac would be a logical choice for the assault.

I am not saying it will happen but that based on the information I have available it seems to be a reasonable possibility that we will get the Kodiac in wave 4 (which should have a November/December release)

kodiak isn't an omni
it will be a lot of balance problems for them to introduce battlemechs with clantech

ugh... do you mean x2 exp (not c-bills!) multiplier?
if so you have it once per day per mech for the first win of the day with that mech

The important point here is that the Kodiac is a clan second line battlemech, and not a IIC mech. IIC's may be possible, but they are still at the very bottom of the bucket f what will be introduced.

It's not a multiplier that you change or swap around. That is your "First win of the day" bonus, each mech gets one, every 24 hours.

Kingfisher is pretty much going to be the assault of the next wave of clan mechs, and that's a battlemech. Considering all of PGI's timeline options, the choice is between the Turkina, and the Kingfisher, and we already have the DWF to do the Turkina's job. Not to mention the Turkina will have awful hitboxes. The Kingfisher is gonna be the most likely assault choice, and it's gonna be a clan battlemech.

I just realized I used "battlemech" the wrong way in my previous post.
It's gonna be an omni, with a STD engine.

Will there be a Memorial Day sale of some sort? Or do these things pop up without announcement?

If there is, we'll get an announcement. All sales usually come with an announcement.

Probably not as memorial day is not a worldwide observance like christmas. It may also seem in bad taste considering what it is remembering. Mwo is based in canada.

Up here in Canada the day of remembering the sacrifices made on our behalf is Remembrance Day, November 11. And they have never held a sale for that day as long as I've been playing.

A poppy red colour sale for the week prior would be nice and put the MC proceeds for it toward a cause such as the poppy appeal (UK) or NA similar charity

I noticed on a mech builder site that the clan mechs ex. KitFox, you can change the hard points to another variant of the KitFox. Is this possible? Or did this site make a mistake.

All clan mechs are omnimechs. This means you can change each "body part" except the CT.

Yeah you can
All clan mechs can swap pods with other variants {for example, you can remove the side torso of the KFX-S, and put in the KFX-d side torso instead. The S has JJs hardlocked in it, with a ballistic hardpoint. While the d would give you no hardpoints, but also no JJs (freeing up an extra ton)}.

All clan mechs can do that.

I'm not sure what exactly is going on with your machine, but have you checked your firewall settings? They might be blocking the game. (Go to Control Panel-> -click the "view by" button in the top right, and select "large Icons" -> Windows Firewall -> On the left side there should be a few options, one of them is "Allow a program or feature through windows firewall" -> After that just find MWO, and allow it to go through).

If that doesn't do it, then maybe your internet connection is unstable.

I would also recommend e-mailing technical@mwomercs.com. Just a heads up, they are back logged right now, so use that as your last resort. There should be plenty of people on the forums who can help you with this.
