Not what I was asking. I was asking specifically what it was that Captain was giving instructions for.

2- You need to be twisting while the enemy is firing. The problem, though, relies on knowing what kind of weapon they are firing. If it's lasers, then twist and dance as much as you want, and spread the damage all over the place. If they are using SRMs, and PP FLD weapons, then you want to twist away after shooting, and stay twisted, keep giving them your side, until they grow impatient, and fire, then you twist, and smack them right in their stupid face. Rinse repeat, while possibly alternating sides, and you're golden. (I've seen an Atlas tank as much as 600 damage just doing that).

The Banshee shuffle.

If they have Dakka at range, vary your speed, you can throw some of their shots off target.(assuming you are moving laterally in front of them or are zig-zagging to them)

Pressing full stop half way through a full speed dash will throw people's aim off very quickly. Especially if you resume again.

However, people need to remember, these are not damage prevention tactics, these are damage MITIGATION tactics. You're gonna get shot, you're gonna get shot a lot.

1. Crashing very oftenly. Even on pure os install, a bit strong hw. Repair does not help.
2. Brutally bad optimisation. It is horribly hefty on hw.
3. Noobish collision system(devs are using some kind of "proxy" on weapon collision so it doesn't match with visible geometry in the game), hit registration.

But I know, PGI are not proffesionals so I can't expect good work. :)

Well, problem 3 has nothing to do with the installer.

problems 1, and 2 need more details if we are to try and even begin to help you (also, e-mailing technical@mwomercs.com tends to help out)

Where can I find my mechbay count now? I read somewhere than you can check it in the store tab, but I couldn't find it at all.

looking under Mechbays in the store shows your number of empty bays.

unfortunately I cannot see a way to see your total number of owned Mechbays or your total number of owned Mechs without manually counting.

hopefully someone else knows

You can find how many EMPTY ones you have left. Not how many you own.

Store->Mechbays.

Does putting a CASE in a torso protect from ammo explosions if the exploding ammo is in an arm?
I thought not but figured to ask after seeing someone do it in a video.

It will prevent any excess damage being transferred to the CT. In general I've found that it's not worth the space.

Do you get assists for enemy TKs? When in a light and swarmed at the end, I always dance around my target hoping for FF to help squeeze out a last minute kill, but this last match my kill was stolen!

Yes. You also get assists when people kill themselves.

I run this DWF-Vassago. Do you guys think dropping 4 tons of Gauss ammo, and switching the ERLLs, to ERLPLs?

I run that too but I notice that the ERLL burn too long and most of the time I don't get the full damage off it. I'd also rather not go below 3 tons ammo per gauss since that's the only thing you can spam when you are at the heat cap.

Try dropping 3 tons gauss + 1 DHS OR shaving armor off the arms and head for the last ton. You lose side torsos more often than arms anyway.

Oh wait, you used 1/2 ammo. Let me rethink that. :/

Edit:

Some armor shaving. This is the best I could think of. Maybe someone has a better idea. You keep 6 tons gauss ammo, all your DHS and ERML and you replace the 2 ERLL with 2 LPL.

DWF-PRIME

Edit 2:

Also considering STs are blown off more than arms, moving the gauss to arms will let you keep your STs longer since they have little to no chance to be detonated.
