No, you have to see them while in the game. Go to "select mech" and then click Trials.
I can tell you this

P.S. I poked my good eye while pruning bushes without my safety glasses because I'm an idiot.
Can someone finish the event for me?
(I'm kidding, I need to lie down, I'm a bit stressed atm)

By the way, with a bit of tweaking, an engine downgrade an some Heavy PPCs and we've managed an armoured and not too slow 255 damage load out.

Go ahead... Alpha that.... I dare you...
We took that challenge way too seriously...
Edit:
Or we can take it up a bit more... to 260...
Wow guys great job the 260 I am intrigued by but I may sacrifice damage for speed and heat efficiency.

You always have to sacrifice speed, heat, range or damage for the others. That's the nature of this game. That is what is suppose to bring balance and choices into things.
I mean, there is the Direstar, which sacrifices everything for damage, but most of the time you need to balance all three delicately for a build that can actually function and do well.

You cannot have everything, you have to make choices.
As far as the event, almost of the Mechs used are on sale.

No. But, it does count towards your match score (provided it destroyed missiles not aimed at yourself).
The damage value you see from AMS is towards missiles, as each missile has a specific amount of health. It also is the damage it will cause if the ammo explodes (like normal ammo explosions).
Thank You. That explains why I have seen 3xAMS Kit Fox recently (mixed M and L-AMS, probably overload) with insane high score in the end.

I think this is an appropriate reward. Wish I was a triple AMS KitFox sometimes on Polar Highlands aka LURM Highlands.

Lights and AMS tend to get rewarded reasonably well. If you stay near your allies to protect them with AMS, you'll get protected light and the added AMS protection bonuses for C-bills and match score. So, if you are playing a slower light and stick with the team (particularly heavies and assault mechs), you can really reap some rewards. (Provided missiles of some kind are being used against your team.)

I turned off cockpit glass but it doesn't seem to improve vision much. FPS I don't know.

Typically, the fewer things your computer has to render, the better your typical performance will be. For me, Cockpit glass doesn't really make a difference, but particles, damage glow and cockpit monitors can have an impact so I turn those off.
Your question is honestly going to be based on a per PC basis. My brother's computer (which has better stats in every way) seems to need everything turned off just to be able to handle the game in any reasonable fashion. For the same settings, my less powerful machine seems to be able to run the game steadier and with more FPS... (Then again, every time we turn around his computer is doing something unexplainable and has somehow even created new drive partitions all on it's own that we can't unpartition... so something may be seriously wrong with his computer, despite being newer and more powerful.)

Some how the game is saying (it's a Hellbringer, right?) Clan Active Probe or Clan Light Active Probe already on your mech. You can not install more than one active probe at a time on a mech.
Could be a bug, or you are trying to get more than one active probe on your mech. Can't rightly say. If you have no probes on your mech at all, make a small change (like remove a DHS or something or a single point of armor), save your mech. Then go back in, revert your change and try to add in the probe again. Sometimes it seems to have a faulty mech loadout save, which may be your case here.

There are three ways to encounter something similar.
1) You have too many weapons. The game has a specific limit to weapons. But this is unlikely as it would directly tell you.
2) You have no slots left to add something BUT was able to regardless due to a loading error. But it would tell you that your build is illegal and you have a slot error.
3) You already have a "CAP" or "Light CAP".
4) If the item you are placing specifically calls itself a "BAP"... you've encountered a whole new issue -- as Clan mechs cannot use BAP. They use CAP. But I'm sure that's just wordplay.
Your issue is most likely number 3. Set the view mode to Layout in the mechlab and look for "Clan Active Probe" or "Light Clan Active Probe"

Last effort solution is to basically Strip Equipment from the mech entirely and begin building again. I'd keep an eye on the Triangle that pops up next to the mech if something goes wrong Caesar.
