um, if you get killed, and after that you leave the match you still dont get any XP+cbills ?
R u kidding me.

even after you are dead ? this must be a joke in 2021.

You only get the payout after the match ends, since the exact bonuses depend on the state of things at the end.

Typically, most people place between 3-7 pts of armor, topping out at 10 in extreme cases. How much you place on your back is really up to you and how observant you are to your surroundings.

And whether or not you want to get wrecked by a wandering air strike. Thankfully they’re not good at causing crits, but damage to your back will strip paper thin armor and leave you vulnerable to crit-seeking light mechs and other flankers.

The total number of (Airstrikes hitting + critseeking backstabbers) is still way below the people that will shot you from the front. So maximising your front armour is advisable.

Those original Seismic Sensor modules were phased out years ago.

Now if you want to use the seismic sensor, your 'Mech must have at least one (or both, for greater range) seismic node active:

There is no additional equipment needed - it's only a matter of unlocked and active seismic sensor node(s).

Remember that front and back share a single total armor cap - every point you put to your back is a point you cannot put on your front. My default tends to be 5 for most things, 0 for ranged Solaris builds and 10 for VERY slow assault mechs

If you're ever in a position where you genuinely need that 20 pts, you've marched your mech into a crossfire and are going to die no matter what your facing is or how much back armor you have.

Not that I am aware of... If it's there, someone else will need to answer.

No, but you can screenshot it if you'd like. There are some combined stats in the client (if you play 10 matches in a weight class in a season) and under your profile on the website, but not match data. I always wished they showed everyone's mech condition at the end too so you could see who barely survived as well.

So there is now this LIGHT engine.

So the difference between standard, light and XL is, by standard you get killed while they destroy your central torso, by light - while they destroy BOTH of your side torsos, and by XL - while they destroy ANY of your side torsos, is that right ?

So in general if I have enough free slots, its best to upgrade to light engines ?

Yes, that's right.

Yes and no.

Light 'Mechs often run XL engines. It's because the speed is their best protection - we can say that the added durability of SFE or LFE wont help them too much if they are hit with some huge alphastrike, so common in MWO. So they go with big XL engines to go fast and make themselves hard to hit.

With Medium 'Mechs we starting to make some choices and tradeoffs: SFEs are often too heavy, so it's usually deciding between LFE and XLE. The shape of the 'Mech starts to be important: Some Medium 'Mechs can run XLE because their body shape makes it difficult for enemy players to isolate their side torsos.

Other Medium 'Mechs are designed for fire support and run XLE too, simply because they are not expected to be in the thick of combat.

For some players it is a matter of balancing risk and reward: Can I kill enemy 'Mech thanks the higher firepower and higher agility of my XL-engined 'Mech befory my XL- engine fails? Or should I prefer the higher rugedness of SFE that will limit the number of my weapons, but probably lets me survive in battle for longer? Using LFE is often a very good idea - a good compromise between firepower and survivability.

We can talk about Heavy or Assault 'Mechs, but I think you get the idea.

Do not forget about 'Mech Quirks! Some 'Mech have quirks giving them additional side torsos protection in the form of additional armor and/or internal structure. Thus, such 'Mechs might be worth using XLE, even though you would not use it otherwise.

Correct. Think of it like you have to lose 3 crit slots worth of engine to die. Clan XL and IS light engines have 2 slots in each side torso, so you can survive the loss of a side torso (but your heat management will be utter crap), while IS XL engines have 3 crits in each side torso, so the loss of a side torso scraps your engine.

I just noticed, that Crab-20 has 5 more additional (faster) engines then other crab variants. Nothing in description or quirks about it.
How is that possible ?
