Artemis can benefit Streaks, so it might not be a total waste, if you can make use of Streaks for your build.

Because of how they are coded, Streaks' Lock-On time sees a benefit from Artemis and does not use the extra tonnage!

You do not have to wait. Any Cbills and XP you earned prior to leaving will still be awarded. Any Cbills and XP you might earn after you leave will not be awarded. For instance, if you die after shooting at a mech that is subsequently killed, you will get an assist credit if you are still there. There was another post about this topic in these forums. My opinion is that in most situations, when Cbills are your primary concern, it's more beneficial to leave a match under the majority of circumstances.

However!

If you simply disconnect from a match without making any attempt to help your team, that does violate the terms of service and you can be reported and banned for it. So, you need to make an effort, and if your honest effort ends up failing, yes, leaving the match is often your best bet when Cbills are your primary concern.

On the other hand, you can also use that time to spectate various teammates and learn. You can learn about their builds, about their movements and tactics. For a new player, this can be valuable. For a more experienced player, perhaps not so much.

Thanks, when I'm dead and use "Quit match", I can't join another game.
PLAY NOW button is REJOIN.
This is quote important, since I die too often.

Your mech is locked into that match until it's over. To join another match, you have to use another mech.

I have two mechs now. Can I use equipment from the old one for the new one.
It should be possible, removed LRM from the old. But it still wants me to pay in the new mech.

You have to remove it from one Mech before you can use it on another.

Go to the old Mech and remove the weapons/engine/equipment/modules you want to reuse then save the old Mech, the items will then be in your inventory to use on the other Mech

The mechlab might give you little warnings when you do this like if you take the engine out because it won't be a valid build anymore, but it will still save ok. You can also use the strip button to strip all equipment.

lrm? you don't have artemis, do you? because if you do you either need to get artemis on the new mech or to buy a new, artemis-free, launcher

artemis spoils launchers forever

It sounds as though one of your mechs has Artemis equipped and the other does not. LRM10 and LRM10 + Artemis are two separate launchers. Therefore they are not transferable unless you up/down grade one of the mechs by adding or removing artemis. This can be found under the upgrades tab in the mechlab.

Hope this helps.

Can I get a definitive answer on notification you are being target locked ®.

I sometimes get what sounds like a little bird tweet in the cockpit, and I *think* a flashing light.... I've been told yes/no it means someone is R-keying on you, so I am not sure.

If true, what are the exact audio & visual cues? Thanks, because otherwise I have a nest in my omnipod...

As far as I know, this is unique to the radar deprivation module when it breaks a lock.

Oh, so you mean if I am already under a lock, and get to cover, the tweet is the radar dep telling me I am no longer locked?

yes.
I tested this a few months ago when someone incorrectly told me that indicated you were being locked, it sounds when you break line of sight (and therefore the lock) with radar deprivation fitted only

Thanks,
but somehow I have different inventory for my two mech. I have StormCrow and Crab( SCR-C and KGC-0000),
when I click configure for Crow I have 3 unused medium lasers. When I configure Crab I don't see/access them.
Pretty new, so I may miss something. Also StormCrow is some clan, for example I think I can't remove engine.

Clan weapons will not go on Inner Sphere mechs. Inner Sphere weapons will not go on Clan mechs. Nothing is interchangeable between Clan and Inner Sphere except mech modules. Not even weapon modules.

No. Ammo is unique by weapon (exc: SRM, LRM, S-SRM is shared within "families.")

IS-AMS is called "AMS". Clan AMS is C-AMS and therefore different than "AMS" and thus requires different ammo. I suppose the explanation is that the ammo is in different feeding systems and because of the different technologies they feeders can't interchange.

The Crab is an IS mech. You own two different sets of technologies. Nothing is interchangeable except mech modules. Everything else is unique to the tech base from which it derives.

These are the Clan mechs in game right now:

Mist Lynx
Kitfox
Adder
Ice Ferret
Nova
Stormcrow
Mad Dog
Hellbringer
Summoner
Timber Wolf
Gargoyle
Warhawk
Dire Wolf

If it isn't one of those mechs, it's IS tech.
