Did anyone get the Hotrod pattern for free as announced? In my Mechlab it costs money just like any other pattern.

I found those hanging items and the colors of the Phoenix ... but the Hotrod does not work?!

Maybe, but Locust got too low armor on it's legs and it's too slow for such light armoring. :)

Did you change the reticle on purpose? cause i dont see it in the patchnotes and it sure is annoying as hell.....
i could understand, kind of, the behavior on mechs without fully modulated arms......but for mechs with arms?
Or is it just to make locusts playable? Cause it sure makes locking for streaks really difficult now....
Or is it just to boost 3rd person? cause those extra moving-space you now have in 1st person is just a joke :/

@Ahasver: You have to open a ticket. Most people got their hotrod pattern.

So nobody got the "Forum title", "Forum badge" and "Ingame badge" from the phoenix package?

Locust is fun but extremely squishy, iv seen others go down like zombies in the walking dead one after another. Tiny though, I ran up to epsil on crimson strait a minute ago expecting another locust as mostly everyone was dead and i pulled a jurassic park and froze as a perfectly pristine thunderbolt marched past me, so glad he didnt have seismic.

Kyle answered my other thread on the topic of missing forum badges and all he said was "They are coming."

So...I'm not sure if that means today (YAY!)...or in the next patch (AWW...)...or later this year (NOOOOOOOOO!).

Why didnt the Cicada get a max engine increase like the Light mechs did?

Gettin real tired of a mech that is supposed to be faster than a light goin slower. Now it'll be even worse.

It's not supposed to be faster than a light; in fact, by :math:, it is impossible in actual TT rules for a heavier mech to go faster than a lighter mech, if they devote an equal percentage of weight to the engine. Probably a few one-off exceptions in TT due to the speed delineations where you could only buy an engine in increments equal to the weight of the chassis, but by and large, if you use the construction rules, a light mech will always be able to go faster than a heavier mech.

The Cicada, by lore, was meant to be "as fast as or faster than most light mechs."

There is a surprising amount of very reasonable changes in here, especially cockpit shake reduction/increase - this was so needed. I am impressed some important changes are coming after all.

Jenner - 118.8 km/h

Raven - 97.2 km/h

Spider - 129.6 km/h

Locust - 129.6 km/h

Commando - 97.2 km/h

Cicada - 129.6 km/h

By lore, the Cicada is as fast or faster than every single mech in MWO right now yet is actually slower than every mech on that list. Yet, despite that, the Cicada is now the slowest fast mech in the game. How does that make any sense?

Not, it is not. Much like the COM-2D and the RVN-3L; the ECM variants (traditionally viewed as the strongest variants) are not getting engine boosts.

Speed or ECM.

The other spiders are also getting the biggest buff, the 75% total speed in reverse.

This means the non-ECM spiders, Commandos, and Locusts(presumably) will be able to run up to 127kph in reverse. This will dramatically change how they fight.

Now PGI will release the Rear View Mirror Cockpit item. For MC, of course
