:P

The bad news in a good way. Yes, I can do that. The bad news in a good way. Well, here it goes.

W-wait till you hear this! I just saw Robin of Locksley, he's back from the crusades.
You know, he just beat the {Scrap} out of me and my men.
He hates you and he loves your brother, Richard!
And...
...he wants to see you hanged!
We, we're in a lot of trouble!

It happens about three or four times a year, here. That's not the worst one by far.

I still like Blimie's icicle picture from the other day...the one out his front door.

To sort of get back on the MWO train of thought, I'd like to remind everyone that, as the immortal Pvt. Murphy once said, "Teamwork is essential; it gives the enemy other people to shoot at."

If you're looking for a better team to draw fire, nobody does it better than the 201st Stryker Regiment. We have the finest in target drones from across the Inner Sphere. Come check us out.

At least bailing is an option in the things you drive...

Maxim 18: "If the officers are leading from in front, watch for an attack from the rear."

So I've been with the 201st a while now so I figured i should probably post on here.

Great bunch of guys, always understanding, the lack of drama is exactly what is needed.
It's great that you can play as and when the real world permits and they act like you never left.

We've got people on both sides of the atlantic so there are a few different timezones between us, I can usually find someone to drop with whenever I need to.

Just can't wait for CW when we can show off a bit more effectively.

That reminds me of a few of Murphy's other gems of Battlefield Wisdom:
  • Fortify your front; you'll get your rear shot up.
  • The most dangerous thing in the world is a Second Lieutenant with a map and a compass.
  • The tough part about being an officer is that the troops don't know what they want, but they know for certain what they don't want.

Maxim 5: The general, unable to control his irritation, will launch his men to the assault like swarming ants, with the result that one-third of his man are slain. While the town still remains untaken. Such are the disastrous effects of a siege.

In the source I use, Maxim 5 is "Close air support and friendly fire should be easier to tell apart".
