We mentioned it in podcast #12 but that is not up and online yet, we still have our engineer working on it.

Nah, he'll probably just be switching back and fourth between the two handles just to cause as much confusion as possible. It's what I'd do anyway.

So, have we found any good incentives to make our Scotsman work faster yet? Or are we still on the old system of locking him in the closet with 5 hours of oxygen until he gets it done?

Hire some British people to go move slowly closer to his house day by day, CM by CM...

We got a humanity complaint about the whole closet and oxygen... so we now put him in a room and slowly fill it with water.

The dev blog 3didn't cover this.

What is the status on strategic operations? Dev Blog 3 covered tactical.... tactics, but what about the larger picture? Because the Houses are very likely going to at war with each other - If they weren't it wouldn't be Mechwarrior - So, are there real lines of battle, battles that effect each Houses'/Clans' territory, et cetera?

I just don't want battles to be just battles. They need to count for something; you need to know that you can very well conquer your enemies, not wait for them to respawn. 'Else it just becomes Call of Duty with mechs.

Yeaaaah we will have to do that next time Bomb has to record, sadly our engineer was having problems with his computer.

About the discussion about "Upper" and "Lower" Torso, I looked at the Record Sheets I have, and I am siding with whoever said that "Upper" and "Lower" Toroso. Look how the Torso crits have two sets of six, and the arm has two sets of six. However the legs don't.The legs have an "upper leg actuator" and an "lower leg actuator".

I thought this was to allow the torso and arm areas to have more crits, but why not just give those areas 11 crits each instead of twelve? I think the reason actually makes sense as it models those areas.

Another great podcast!

Yeah, bomb has it right. Women open their mouth as it stretches their skin around their eyes that allow them to put it on easier as the skin is more taught. Try drawing a straight line on a crumpled paper, now draw the line while the paper is laying flat.

Thanks for talking about my question and the compliments

Best episode yet, really looking forward to it every week.

Have a question that combines two topics you have touched on already.
The 1st/3rd person debate and the ability to record battles to watch later. Recording matches would allow us to have the actuall gameplay first person only and the battleroms will take care of the urges to see our big beautifull death machines from the outside and in action after the drop when we can relax and enjoy the view.
This would also have multiple other benefits such as:

- After action reports and training tool. Video is a very powerful tool in training athletes, and other persuits I'm sure, of every level. Would be great for pinpointing where a unit needs to improve and where tactics need adjusting.

- Putting together clip shows, blooper/kill/honourable behaviour (for the Clanners) of the week and that sort of thing as well as great advertising for the game and unit recruitment drives.

- Allow players to sort out what really happened in disputes such as Clan trials and such.

- Allow players to relive their past youthfull glories by watching, through eyes blurry with tears, slow motion video montages of their little Urbie running around in happier days, before that unfortunate incident with the Lyran recon lance.

What do you guys think? Possible?
