If this game isn't a top 25 FPS game, then why didn't I play all those other top 25 games several hours a week for a year, like I've done with MWO? The only previous FPS I've played as much (probably more) is Counter Strike Source. And I will grant you that Counter Strike was, and still is, a better game. But even for me, it's a bit too minimalistic.

There really isn't another game out there with combat anything like what we have here.
I think the basic mech piloting and combat in this game make it worth the 83/100
When reviewing a F2P game like this I think 'potential' should factor a little bit into the score.
MWO has a really solid base to work with....

I think of counterstrike a lot when people criticize MWO. Both are no-respawn tactical FPS on small repetitive maps with only 2 game modes....
Yet I've spent more hours with CS and MWO than most other online games combined.

^ THIS, and I said this months ago when MWO was still considered in BETA, and it received a "one of the best of all time" label..
You CANNOT put a "Best of all time" label for anything that hadn't been released yet..
If this didn't have the MechWarrior/BattleTech background it would simply be just another unfinished product brought to market.

There is a world of difference between someone stating an opinion and claiming they were paid to do it.
How much does Hawken pay you to come here and complain about this game? Because only a complete fool would whine on the forums as much as some of you do without pay.
really? This is exactly what I'm talking about. You have no idea what being unbiased is. You rant and rave all day about everyone who says anything contradicting your opinion or gives a less than favorable review on anything PGI or MWO related. Yet you make statements like this. This is just ignorance. For the record I have never played Hawken, not my cup of tea and I'd rather THIS game not become like Hawken. I've played about 500 matches or so. I've spent far less time in this game than with a myriad of others simply because there is no game outside of stomp, shoot, repeat. I don't know why you take any and all criticisms of PGI and/or MWO personally but you should probably relax a bit. If they handled propaganda and PR as a professional company nearly as well as you do, they'd be the golden boys of gaming at the moment. If you think this is one of the top 25 games of all time in any way shape or form, that's great. Kudos to you. That's doesn't make it fact. You do nothing but spout of biased opinions and take potshots at Anyone that says Anything negative about this game. I calls em like I sees em. When trolls are spouting of ridiculous negative propaganda and doom and gloom I point it out. When someone (not mentioning any names *cough cough*) stands up and says things like "Yay, game is greatest ever and you should love it to and if you don't then it's obviously because of some bias and can't have anything to do with the fact that the game is incomplete" well then I point that out too. Maybe you should do your own research and instead of saying things like "You must be a hawken fan" actually read through some of my topics and posts. Of course that might actually lead to you making an unbiased statement about another player for once as opposed to "PGI great, you suck because you said something bad about them"
I'd actually do a list of my top 25 games but windows 8 doesn't let you do a line break on these forums so I'll wait until I have my laptop. It would be subjective and "biased" anyhow I'm sure

Dragon Age 2 - 94/100: Or How I Gave Up Integrity and Learned to Sell My Review Scores
At this point Heffay will come in with some hyperbole, assumptions, and broad generalizations to defend PGI in his quest to become the Baron of Brown Nosing, and someone else will reply with something reasoned out that will be subsequently dismissed by Heffay if it does not carry its significant digits out three places past the decimal point, so I think we can put this thread to bed.

I read it and thought it was a spoof but that was a real review...... wow. That explains a lot though

The bad robot game that you have put a lot of money and time into, and still post ten times as much as I do about? Me thinks someone needs to find a different hobby... Heffay will be glad to help your search, you just have to ask...

See? This is what the forums should be more about. Less anger and more friendly banter. People need to stop taking criticisms and opinions about a game personally unless you personally developed the code for said game.
