You do realize that would be an even greater nerf to lights? Lets just lock the Seismic module up in the attic and pretend it was never born. If you want you can feed it some table scraps through the vent.

Side note: What is PGI's infatuation with screen shake?

I wouldn't mind more clarification on "Weapon fire causes seismic events".

So firing a weapon causes an event. Any weapon? Lasers too?
What about weapon impacts?

It adds to the immersion, which is A Good Thing.

But they do now need to scale the shake so that LRM5s shake less than LRM20s etc.

Its just flatout better than the k2.

One could argue that the k2 has 2ballistic hardpoint but since the jaggermech is here there is little reason to bring a ballistic in it.


heres the thing though.. what about FIREBRAND? that thing gave you 2 energy above the waist, and potential for 340 engine rating. same deal.. it has improvements but gives up something else..

Firebrand gave up the ability to boat ballistics for an energy hardpoint in that upper arm.

the Jester gives up any ability to fire ballistics or missles.. just 6 energy. thats not that many hardpoints when you think about the other mechs out there. and to boot, two are in the CT. meaning you have VERY limited options..

guess im tryin to say, i dont think its P2W, just gets some really neat sh** for what its sacrificing.

No you can't - It's now: button 1 fires group one, button 2 fires group two, etc.[/color]


This is going to take some getting used too...or rebinding. I've had Mouse2 as my Center Legs to Torso button for a very long time now. That said, any chance of getting the scroll wheel bound so we can use it? It'd be great for a throttle bind.

When weapon fire hits the ground, it registers on Seismic.

Ah. So not firing a weapon then... I think that'd be kind of cool. Like ballistics above say an AC 5, and say 2 or more salvos of LRMS triggered an event.

They didn't remove anything, they just changed the default, which makes it more new player friendly. Go into your options and change it back to the way you prefer it.

So the Jester you lose 2 ballistic hard points for 2 ams? I don't think that is a great trade. I like the paint job but it is basically just super bright Phracken paint. I was going to get this but as it sits I think it is a POS K2.

I have played in a bunch of games and I don't think i have ever seen an artillery strike or a UAV.

more maps! more weapons! more enviroment change! more urban maps! more modules! thats, what we suggest, but we know all that in time it will all happen, you´re all doing a great job! put something for the people who played on board, we´re old , but we liked it a lot here in brazil and taht´s how we found your excelent game

loved the dinamic, i play with 3 centurions and unlocked the pilot bonuses, damm good game!

You forgot about the JJ's. 2 PPC's, 2MLAS, JJ's and a 355 engine would make this thing a nasty little sniper.
