What do you mean "weapon fire causes seismic events", Lasers don't exactly have kinetic force.

And that's all? 2 consecutive patches about nothing really...
The only thing that brought my attention is a screen shake. And arty FX. Maybe I will finally notice an artilery strike.. Usually I see only red smoke)

Good thing I never bought the second seismic and was swapping one between mechs.. Now it can be thrown away, new trend is UAV.

Jester is utterly abominable as visually (even more eye-killing than Protector), as hardpoint-wise.
6E, 2 AMS? I see why this is called Hero mech.. You need to be an hero to pilot that.

And KEY REMAPPING AGAIN! You'd better return that Fire Selected Group really soon, seriously.
You are messing with the way people have been playing Mechwarrior since the dawn of ages! STOP it.

As per the Command Chair post of several weeks ago, cannons and missiles impacting the ground will be caught by the seismic sensors if they land within range.

wait...so the game is ruined because of the removal of the "fire selected weapons group" function?

But I thought it was already ruined when they added 3pv...

ok, my bad. It was ruined before that, when they added ghost heat.

oh wait, before that when they added ECM.

oh wait, it was ruined before that when they do anything at all.

Difference is Sparky, you can choose whether or not to use 3PV.

Love the nerf to Seismic! Might actually give it a try finally...

The keybind option doesn't affect me.

Screenhsaking depends on the level of shakes.

Never piloted a Catapult so that doesn't affect me.

When put together the two patches come out to a bit of content.

Always looking for more though.

Well I don't know if anyone brought this up but, I would have thought that the capture acceleration module would have given you XP and C-bills 1st before the UAV module. But then again UAV is a consumable so that might be why it gives bonuses and cap accelerator does not. Would like to see both give bonuses cause lights or anyone capping, are not all ways in the fight and this way they could get their XP by other methods.

This combat game already has too much pacifism in it without people going and asking for even more.

I thout it was already like that except the firing part, I think its fine most of the time they would be moving and if there not well there making them selves easy targets, I would use it on serton builds this just brings it more into line with other things a refund would be good so people who don't like it can get something else like how they reset skill trees in MMOs when they make changes. it doesn't bother me tho i have everything, just need to buy some more so i don't need to change them out so much.

the only difference it makes is I don't fire the wrong weapon group because I left one of the other groups selected wile setting up my groups its nothing.

What I'm saying Corky, is that for an surprisingly large segment of players, this is forcing them to completely remap or relearn how to play the game, for apparently no reason other than... "Hey, we didn't think this through".

Reading some of the posts in other threads it ACTUALLY makes the game unplayable for them as they use peripherals beyond the mouse/keyboard combination for various reasons that extend beyond just having 'cool gaming toys'.

This isn't just like ECM or Ghost heat that there are ways to combat, or 3PV that is a semi issue which really comes down to preference in play. This is something that was removed from the game sans logic, notice or even a quantifiable reason.

Is it the END OF TIMES? No.. but is it the end of play-ability for more than a few people? Yes.

We still got cheating Mechs! And some guys whining about a single Module. I still wonder what is going on in their brains.
I´m annoyed about the GXP i spend on this module and the C-Bills blown in the wind. I got no prob with the Seismic Sensor everybody could buy it so the chances for everbody are the same. Reduce the range of the seismic is ok but now its totally useless. <_< Good things still got nerved in MW:O and the really bad like the broken Hitboxes, that missing Matchmaking, or the not working HSR still exists. And with every single patch PGI puts in one prob is solved but for that one that is solved they create 2 new. The main thing for PGI is to bring new content in every single Patch you could buy with real money.

Man slowly i´m really pissed off.

So funny to see all the Lights pilots whining about the Seismic nerf when they were the first ones to be hit by its introduction.
Every bigger Mech had just to follow the little red dot on radar and fire when those little boys showed their nose around a corner, so why would they complain now that they can sneak behind enemy's line again??
And for the guys with 25 SEISMIC MODULES (lol), well we all did know it was broken. Your just some game-flaws abusers complaing about their trick being fixed. Sorry for you, you'll have now to play fair...

Even the key re-mapping... Who said it was irreversible? It's written that you can map the key yourself!

So many childish complains about PGI... Well, if I was at PGI, i'd cry at those no-brainers that called themselves players.

How many features/keys you still have to eliminate (fire group, target next, target closest, etc) before it all fits in a console joypad?
