20 Slower accel.... why? I just... why?

(EDIT: didn't bother reading what other people were saying about htis, but... yea... what other people are saying is correct.)
Guys, there's no danger of this mech being overpowered, and thus, no need for the accell nerf.

I have to agree all the way on this. They have done nothing to improve the game in 2 years nothing added but ways to get morons to spend rediculous amounts on a mech in a game! A jenner with nothing but missiles but no jj? Another varient of a mech we already have plenty of? Just shut it down already with next gen getting ready to really ramp up why spend money on this?

Hell I wont spend money till clan mechs are officially released and only if they are not broken.

Didn't you uninstall a few weeks ago?

I'm also already anxious for Dec 17th patch, so good!. But the Dec 3rd patch has some nice bits to tide us over as well.

I love how he thinks this lazy patch is going to tide us over till Dec 18th. What a joke.

Are you really saying that you're so impatient that you absolutely cannot wait two weeks without a massive, massive update?

This patch is totally functional. A good patch. Some hitbox tweaks to test out, a new Hero, and a Light one at that, fixes in spawns, and bug fixes. There is literally nothing bad in this patch and I do not understand why people like you are so fixated on crying so much about things that are still good changes.

Stop being babies, get over yourselves. They've said that there's a big patch in 2 weeks, wait for that before crying.
(Note that if that patch that they've (mildly) hyped for over a month blows, then it's fair game.)

Edit: Speaking of Twitter, aren't base turrets confirmed to be working to some capacity in a prebuild? I am actually excited about that change. :)

The spawn locations alone are big, and will give us a fresh take on some old maps.

THANK YOU PGI FOR NOT INVALIDATING EVERY LIGHT IN-GAME WITH A PAY2WIN HERO, SORT OF ANYWAY.

There is some interesting stuff in this patch though (Seriously, the Cap/Start point change could be a pretty major gameplay change, at least shifting how we think about the maps), and yes, it will have to hold us over, because the next patch is in 2 weeks regardless of what it is (should be the HPG map for one thing).

Seriously, you're going to see someone's post as "even more good stuff coming next patch" and take it as a slap in the face because the current patch wasn't to your liking?

Just a comment on folks complains.

"There's no new content" - Like it or not, a Hero and Champion mech are new content. Beyond that, Jenners get a facelift (which is new), and the new spawn/cap points might make many of the maps feel like new.

"There's no balance fix" - Hitbox redesign helped make the spider mortal and helped the Awesome's lot a bit, this pass fixed some actual balance flaws (IE, the Cent's unearthly durrability), and may help a few mechs that need some loving (Treb, Dragon). Also, new spawn/cap points are a balance fix.

"There isn't a lot in this patch" - 5 mechs get fixed hitboxes, 2 "new" mechs, new look for jenners, several bug fixes, and new spawn/cap points for every map? Sure, it's not Project Phoenix level new content, it's not UI2.0, and it's not CW, but there's a lot in here, including some bug fixes.

Sure, it's not a miracle patch, nor is it a major game changer, but I count several improvements that look to make the game better post-patch than it was pre-patch, and I don't think that there's anything wrong with seeing some improvements

Also these hitbox changes worry me a bit, some are good, but I don't really see why the Cicada needed to have a fatter rear hitbox when it's already kind of mediocre.

I'm terrified of what they'll do to the Commando, one of it's few saving graces so far is it's microscopic rear side torsos, come on PGI, no one thinks the Commando is annoying or OP, don't make it worse than it already is.

You DO realize that there is a difference between being a White Knight and pointing out to Debbie Downers that their QQing is not only unnecessary, but completely wrong-headed?

Disappointed.

Been screaming for more light heros for months. And was gonna say "omg hero Jenner, can't wait to get home from holidays to play" but then I seen the hardpoints and lack of jumpjets. jumpjets are what make the Jenner fun to play. And 4x ssrm2 at Jenner speeds is going to be a massive pain for other lights especially locusts. 3 missiles and energy/ballistic wouldhave been better.

I have been loving your last few patches pgi bit this just seems like a. Thoughtless money grab that just kills the game for other lights even without jumpjets.

Waiting 2 weeks??? We were promised CW back in Jan. SRM's aren't fixed, No UI2.0, No DX11, and no Community warfare. Most of the vets here have been waiting for almost 2 years to get these features!

Don't give me "wait 2 more weeks" bull {Scrap}.

I'm just not getting the complaints. We've been given some timelines (or at least hints at them) as reciently as yesterday, so expecting CW or UI2.0 this patch wasn't particularly realistic, so I'm curious what folks were expecting?

Complaints about "No balance fix", "Not a lot in the patch" (Which is BS, there's plenty of dev work in this, even if it's not apparent), or "No new content" just seem more like folks screaming "they didn't fix my personal pet issue or put something in that I want" or are simply folks ignoring what's actually in the patch.

I've got no problem with folks complaining, and yeah, the game could use a lot more help than this patch, but it's a better game after this patch than it was prior (unless they really borked the map placements), and I don't think there's anything wrong with admitting that.

Hey the Hero Jenner could have been 6 Streak2's and been a faster version of a Streakapult, then we would have all raged about that one till streaks got nerfed out of existence. LOL god to think if that would have happened! Imagine how the Dev team would have looked on that one.

The build would be better on a 733, with another SSRM2 and minus some DHS.

Sadly, the build can be replicated on the 732 (or 733 for that matter), so the build itself doesn't into account any of the uniqueness of the 733C chassis at all.

To be more precise, this build would be better on any other Highlander chassis, as the 733C has limited arm movement.

Whoever designed this didn't really think it through.

My own thoughts:

- Bug fixes = good

- Hit box tweaks = good overall, though I hope the Centurion isn't unplayable now.

- New map spawn locations = great idea for more variety and a step towards making matches different despite being on the same world and same game mode.

- New hero mech = I'm terrible at lights, but it does seem weak, though perhaps it is just very specialized. Still, better weak than pay-2-win, but I do hope some folks find some interesting uses for this mech.

Anyway, I expected nothing but a hero mech and bug fixes, so this is good for this patch, IMHO.

that 733C build is.....just horrid! Its the 733C, the only one that can use an AC20......and its not using one, rest of it is fine/normal for that mech.

Jenner is missing 2 hard points compared to its brethren, D=6 F=6 K=5 and this one has 4? All missile too, was expecting to see 6 missile hardpoints hence keeping up with the rest of the jenners. No JJ to boot either for losing those hardpoints, worst jenner ever, just 1 JJ alone would of at least made it SOMEWHAT useful to people, now this is just going to go in my collection and probably never get used.

I dont own any Hero mechs, so I could care less about this Hero Jenner!

To all that QQ about a light mech with 4 streaks.... if you see this Jenner and your in a Light.... head for the water if your map has water. The deeper the better. SRMs and Streaks DONT do {Scrap} for damage, IF ANY AT ALL to lights. Especially a LOCUST in deeper water, say Crimson Strait Map!

I'm looking forward to the new base spawn points. Hopefully it Mixes things up enuff and REDUCES the Stale and Boringness of the Lame Game Modes!!!

Hitbox adjustments should be nice, only In-game time will tell!

+1 to be fair to them, there is no hero mech so far that has a clear advantage over the C-Bill counterpart.

I hope that line is never crossed though as soon as this becomes P2W it becomes for me never pay again :)

You must have missed the whole Ilya Muromets release then. P2W was in full force back then.
