One player's challenge is other player's easy mode. And we need enough of "challenge" ones to have proper, functioning CW. As much as I admire your dedication to lore, it'll simply kill the entire premise of CW.

The Clans came expecting to waltz through the Inner Sphere, So they would be expecting to have EZMode. It is why so many want to be Clans over IS forces. Give them their Advantage, and let us see if ingenuity can over come raw power.

I want physical combat. Then the Clans can have their advantage.

IIRC Stone Rhino's have retractable covers that protect the barrels for just such adventures!

Just leg Inner Sphere mechs, they shave off armor from there and thatès where they put their ammo. B) You need two legs to properly take a swing at someone !

1. You're suggesting to balance Clans and IS by the quantity of mechs from each side. Sounds good. Say, 9 vs 15. Why not?
Because where the hell are you gonna find 15 IS mechs against 9 Clan mechs for every single match??? B)
Hordes of people, who like Clans/who don't have guts to fight in a weaker mechs are going to wait for ages while matchmaker is trying to find those 15 players, who are brave enough to be a part of a pug team, which does not have a clue about "Stick together and focus fire" in 90%. Sounds cool.

2. If you ask someone, no one wants to aknowledge, that they care about kill death ratio. But even though it's just a statistic, these IS fighters will have much less occasions to get this satisfaction of killing a mech, while a good player in "unnerfed" heavy/assault clanmech is going to wreck half of IS team every round.

3. Clantech provides a lot of superabilities. It's not just a high pinpoint alfa strike. Clantech LRMs working from 0 to 1000m are gonna wreck any team of IS mechs, no matter how many mechs you put there. These things should be nerfed without a question. It's not a table top game. It's a multiplayer shooter, so every weapon should have it's downsides and countermeasures. Current IS equipment cann't provide this countermeasures.

10vs12 sounds better lore and team organization-wise :D

If you actually read their post, you will know that they are already planning to put 180m as well as minimum range for Clan LRMs. Sadly..

At this point I have to seriously ask: do you have a learning disability? You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but if you have something that causes you difficulty in understanding the written word, let me know so I can cut you some slack - otherwise, you're just being obstinate and ignoring my arguments. Restating your error does not make you less wrong - but it does show you to be less sane.

If you want to continue to freely post in the MW:O forums, you need to drop that abusive and frankly offensive tone and be more mature about how you articulate your displeasure with someone else's writing or opinion. You detract from your veracity by persisting in your "idiom".

You are reading about the Jade Falcon. Each Clan is different.. I strongly suggest you to read the Blood of Kerensky trilogy, it may give you a different point of view about the Clans. They are different (in "The Clans - Warriors of Kerensky" there is a good review of their society and civil castes) but i seriously doubt Aidan Pryde or Horse would step on a newborn baby.

As nearly every faction, they have "good" and "bad" characters so there is not any "hero" faction (aside from Victor Davion's FedSuns).

Perhaps you are right I believe I have at least one of the 3 trilogy in that series I will have to look for it, I'm almost done with the current one. Yeah It does seem like the Jade Falcons get the most story out of the rest except for the smoke jaquire clan that gets eliminated for it's extremely inhuman acts leveling entire cities and what not. Jade Falcons do their bit too but not in the same way there way was more honorable, and thats why you see more of their mechs they are more likable characters in it.

Yeah, some characters are just written to be liked by the reader and these of course include the protagonist of a story. Now you will not say me you do not like Aidan Pryde or Phelan Kell.. quiaff? B)

Because not many players will willingly enter a match knowing that their 'Mech and weapons are inferior by a wide margin?
Really? The number of Dragon pilots over the years- right from the very beginning- says otherwise.

Aff these characters are very well written more human than most of them, I also very fond of Horse he too is a hero of the clans yet he is sympathetic to suffering unlike a lot of the trueborns however Joanna eventually finds a friend in Horse and Aidens daughter. It is kind of a shame Aiden dies though at the very beginning I knew he eventually dies saving his daughter but that is because I did not read the books in order really. I saw them at a half price book store and bought every one of them they had lol like almost 20 books.

I also like Joanna because she is IMHO written to be hated by the reader but eventually she comes to like Aidan, Horse and Diana.
