Seriously the "problem" is what its always been: us MW fanboyz are hanging out for any and all updates we can get! Its a bit like the Kid told he's going to Disneyworld "are we there yet...!" All communication from you at PGI/IGP is appreciated though occasionally these weird apparently redundant postings irritate.

Damn people be grateful that we even have a good game of Mechwarrior, just cause we all have our mechbays full, mastered current maps & hiding positions, shot off every load , and pitted our piloting skills for the biggest and best doesnt mean you have to sledge what most still enjoy playing over and over.

Damn it how many cars do you need in the garage. There are plenty of games developers out there milking gamers for illusions of a better game and promising 6bit pixels in comparison. So stop your petty whinning like wounded kangaroos on the side of highway and have a cup of cement!

Pratically the game and stopped playing the others bc of it.
I look at it as we are in 3050 and the universe there is going same rate of time as here, so naturally if I am living on some backwater planet in the Battletech Universe, this is pretty much what I expect to see in my local hood!

IMHO, I think it was just to manage expectations, and to inform everyone that there will be no further update this year.

Just my .02 Credits though.

Personally, I think the Devs just realized they couldn't meet the deadline to get the video Dev Update done (it's a complicated process to get the camera turned on and speak for a few minutes, and the Project Meeting called to plan it probably ran into organizational issues pertaining to who would be responsible for which task), and so had to slide in the previous material into the place of it (with a new title card to enhance the dramatic introduction).

At least we can now go on with our Holiday business now that we know this is what we'll have until January.

Yes. Also, it will take PGI at least 2 months to produce a 10 minute video detailing content that has already been covered/promised. Lucky us... The lovely ladies over at Warframe manage to put on a 2 hour livestream every week, PGI has their work cut out for them...

Hey guys, people like us who come here every day and refresh the forums 4 times a day... nothing is news. Casuals who fly by twice a month? Some stuff in there that might get missed. What PGI never counts on is that all of the "feedback" about this will now be about the timeliness of the post, not the content therein.

By that reasoning, PGI should just shut-down this game, for a month, and re-re-release it as an XBoxOne exclusive title. No one would know the difference if they had not read anything about it before, and MWO could be reborn!
