Out of curiosity, anyone know where I might buy a old gaming PC running Windows 98? If I'm going to spend $500 dollars on anything game-related, it's going to go towards getting MW2 and MW3 running again so I can turn my back on the disaster that is MWO once and for all.

I realy want this game to work, but i can't help it: i am getting a bad feeling for your future as a company
I hope you will prove us wrong and mwo will flourish, but should you ever face bankrupcy, please do this community one last favour:
Release the source code.

Because stringing people along for a feature that only exists as made up ramblings in a crappy MS Paint slideshow is the behavior of con artists.

First feeling I had when I saw this clan pack today.
Waiting for epic ui 2.0 & CW announcements to prove me wrong.

I've said it many times before: I bet you $10 that they burn the source to the ground when they go under. Do you think Paul would ever let someone ruin his awesome brilliance that is Ghost Heat? No, better to destroy everything than to let us have a fun game.

Exactly what I predicted. "Reinforcement package NOW OUT! Limited sale ends xx.xx.xxxx - grab now for ONLY $100"
I think the most disappointing part is that stuff regarding "Work on CW will begin..." ....srsly? After basically lying straight into the faces of every single person attending to that "launch party"? Hmmm....

I wonder how many Mad Cats we will see upon release.

BUT GUYS....YOU THINK PEOPLE GROW THEIR MONEY IN BACKYWARD ? WHO THE FRUCK WAS HIGH WHEN YOU SET THOSE PRICES ? AND MORE - FOR AN UNFINISHED GAME...AND NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THAT !!!!!
no offence but you and this game dont deserve our loiality and its just a mockery from your part. I really feel like we are the idiots that pay for your life...not much different from those religion guru's that milk their stupid followers. WHAT THE HELL GUYS ? You are really pushing this community.
I think i will just go back to starcraft and Blizzard. Amazing games, amazing company, endless maps and game types, tournaments, ladders, in game lobby, rooms and so on, achievments, story ...all we want from you. And its 10 times cheaper. And the game its finished and working. And I will install mw3 and 4 and lick my wounds playing those.
I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT THOSE WHO LOVE MW GAMES STOP PLAYING AND BOYCOTTING THIS LAST MOVE FROM PGI. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO SAVE THIS GAME ! the way they are managing it now it will be the downfall of it.
THINK ABOUT IT !

I won't lie. I wish things were different so I could find a way to support MWO financially. I just have no more trust. Too many design pillars forgotten. Too many deadlines missed. I wasn't interested in the last dangling carrots. These aren't any better, IMHO. I hope you guys who buy this get your money's worth. IF (big IF) you do, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

So this whole launch blows before we even THINK of talking price!
I considered that too, I feel if you want an IS pilot play IS, but if you want this Clan Package make a new account. We started with 4 mechs and no hit registration. They start with 8 and a full stable of mechs already??? I'm just saying. And if there is any kind of meaningful CW, how does that play out if all the IS pilots bring Timber Wolves???? That makes zero sense to me. +1 for catching it Victor.

It kinda killed my dreams about some awesome gameplay meta where clan tech is salvaged from the ongoing struggles in the galactic conflict. I imagine from this my MWO mechbay will look much like my MW3 or MW4 mechbays in 6-8 months time.

- Why was UI 2.0 started two months before release?
- Why is Community Warfare still setting up a pipeline while being marketed as an impending feature?
- And most of all, what was added to the game for the period between consumables and just about launch?
- Why can't you spend 30 seconds working on the XML with each patch?

Really, relax. PGI hasnt Hax0red your accounts and stolen money from you.
They have, infact, given you the ability to purchase something far before you'll get it,
and they finally put to rest everyone doubting the clans making into this game.
AND, nothing anywhere sez they wont have pressies for xmas.
plus faith.
have it.
also, dont say, "im sick to death PGi, sick to death, and i wont stand for it anymore!!"
because frankly, its a game, thats fun to play, and free to play.
Dont likey? then bail.
I'm at the point of bail. Even if they backtrack on the moneygrab approach, I seriously doubt I will ever spend one red cent on any product they ever release. GE pissed me off over 20 years, and I have not knowing bought one GE product since (though I cannot be certain that there were no GE components in other companies products unfortunately). There are plenty of other games out there, but the market for PGI to sell a Battletech game to that would stick with the franchise is limited.
Warhammer is a perfect example of a game of an MMO company sh!**ing on the TT/PnP audience that would have supported their game. PGI should have learned from the example.
So as far as I am concerned, PGI can "redacted for vulgar content" themselves. I'll play till for a while longer, with what I have but I will leave permantly when something comes along to take its place a secondary game to play.
