I cannot view this as anything other than a blatant cash grab - I am amazed at your prices. It just comes across to me as you trying to milk your diehard fans for all they're worth before it all goes pear-shaped.
Once again, a decision has been made within PGI's walls that pushes me further and further away from this game, and does nothing to woo me back to a "full time" player.
As if anyone here cares.

That's not quite true. Only certain backers from early on could get LTI. You could have them launder ships for you to get you an LTI version, but even back in July if you bought a ship through the normal store, you don't get insurance with it.

Just because the real world is being ruined by greedy evil capitalist scum doesn't mean to say you should do it to MWO.
Meta content before more money grubbing.

Keep in mind that $5000 Star Citizen ship can be blown out of the sky and you lose it *forever*.
You get Life Time Insurance so NO you don't lose it "forever". Learn what it is you are talking about before opening your mouth next time!

How does buying the Clan mechs affect community warfare with regards to use by Merc and IS groups/players?
Do the hanging items/badges/whatevers use by IS/Mercs gain loyalties for the Clans even in fighting for the former?
How will rearm/repairs (if it is a part of CW) work for the Clan mechs if used (again) by IS/Merc players?
It's not going to make much sense if half the IS and Merc groups have the Clan mechs before the Clans even arrive...

As I said, protesting the prices is fine..even I think it's over the top!
However; there is doing that, and then there is conjuring up frivolous and silly images of cigar-smoked rooms, with fat executives, pitching unscrupulous business ideas, with all the malicious- and patronising attitudes of business executives villains right out of a spiderman comic, as though that were really the case..I mean come on .

But now, after this affidavit of means, you expect me to dish out even more obscene amounts of money to support this incompetence? This is disgusting. After the last community update i was very disappointed. But now, i feel betrayed and offended.
And i am only talking about the normal Clan packages for 240$. The single golden Mechs for 500$ are simply the worst deal any gaming developer/publisher ever offered, and this even trumps EA with their mobile Tetris subscriptions, 100$ NfS World exclusive chars or their Theme Park rides for 60$. This is...i do the lack the proper words, so i let you guys speak.

The amount of monetisation on this IS OBSCENE. UNETHICAL.

First, holy {Scrap} those are some absurdly inflated prices. There's a problem when one of your intended customers takes one look at your offerings and the immediate reaction is 'no way in hell'. Not to mention that you're repeating that whole stupid thing of gating the mech you want behind a whole bunch that you don't.
Second, 'one prime and two standard variants'? That sounds like the clan mechs use the same variant system as the inner sphere ones, which is literally the laziest way I can think of to implement this. "Figuring out how to implement clan tech is hard, so eh, screw it?" No thanks. The clans are supposed to be *the clans*, which among other things means omnimechs.
Third, holy {Scrap} your game is nowhere near ready for this. Not even CLOSE. Put this back in the can for a year, because rushing this out now is going to be a frigging disaster. You said quite recently that you hadn't even decided how to handle clantech, and now you're promising the clan invasion in 6 months?
Fourth, putting such absurdly expensive packages up for sale before there's even a *single* scrap of information out there about how this whole thing is going to be implemented into the game is, frankly, scummy. You're going to have a whole lot of unhappy purchasers if your implementation of the clans turns out to be as bad as I'm suspecting right now.
But hey, at least you've still got your amazing artists and modelers and the mechs look good, so at least you've got that going for you.
This is all true.

Hey
Standard Hull, Cargo and Equipment Insurance is available to everyone on release. There are also planned automated warnings before your insurance runs out. You will not be losing anything forever unless you were dropped on your head as a baby,
This has been an SC PSA. Enjoy.

However I would appreciate it if you guys could move away from these HUGE packs. If you want to do pre order thats cool. But maybe divide the packages up some more ya know? Or releasing more content per patch that is not just paint schemes and hero mechs
Also making more "Micro Transactions/better deals" would be better IMO then trying to **** out a huge pack. We just got done with project phoenix and already you guys throw this at us with out even the slightest bit of four shadowing.

I've just read today about the Clan Invasion. It's jaw-droppingly deceitful and that's all that needs to be said. I'm not coming back (if ever) until this game has actually been fleshed out and PGI's actions match their words.
