Want My Money? I Want Concrete, Clear, Concise Information

You announced a new package today for hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. Want to know what the problem with that is?
We have NO concrete information on ANYthing. That's one of the biggest problems. They treat it like if they keep secretive and hush hush on their "top secret" developments that it's somehow better than dispersing information to paying and potential customers.
Why would I spend money on something that I have no information on how it works, how it will be implemented, how the game will play, how CW will work, how it's going to be balanced, how the different game modes will work within CW, what modules and components like command console will work, wtf a horn is, what a "unique module is (is it functional, purely aesthetic?), what the hardpoints on clan mechs are...
Want me and the rest of the community to support and purchase stuff like this? Stop acting like everything involved in your game is some sort of trade secret that is on par with national security. There's no excuse for you to continue this kind of non-communication. I can't throw money at a blind product anymore. I simply cannot do it. None of the items I ticked off in that list above have had ANY concrete information dispersed on them. The sad part is that list is far from complete or comprehensive. Would you continue to throw hundreds of your hard-earned dollars into a product developed by a company that refused to give you any pertinent or concrete information on the product you're buying?
Many of us did it for founders. Many of us did it for PP. Now you're wanting us to do it again on faith yet "one more time" because "We've got some cool stuff coming in Q1 of 2014!" and Russ is "hopeful" that UI2.0 will be implemented in January. You can listen to what I'm saying here or not. The rest of the community can agree, troll, disagree or ignore. It doesn't matter to me because without that kind of information I cannot give you 200+ dollars of my hard earned cash. I can play your game for free from here on out though. It doesn't matter if you agree with the perceptions and opinions of players when they call you "cash grabbers", etc. but that's their perception and you're not getting their money until YOU ACTIVELY DO SOMETHING TO CHANGE THAT PERCEPTION

cool story bro
just one thing. wtf is a war horn and wtf does it do? That's like saying "Give my $50 and I'll give you a foogle doogle"
"What's it do"
"I'll tell you later"
"When?"
"Soon"
No excuse for not giving your potential customers information on what they're buying. Period.

I wish I knew what the slowdown in their offices is. Are they working under an IGP-inflicted skeleton budget? Is CryEngine once again throwing hundreds of wrenches per minute into each line of code? Is their small UI team being held back by one or two lazy/incompetent programmers (very common for such a small outfit)?

1. Lots of people paid for Founders
2. Lots of people pay for heros
3. Lots of people pay for paints/patterns/cockpit patterns
4. Lots of people paid for Phoenix package
Why wouldn't they think that even more people will buy into a Clan package? And you have to know that there are enough crazy people who will buy $500 gold mechs. I will not be one of them. You will not be one of them. But there will be someone somewhere (or someone who is drunk perhaps?) It doesn't matter if they actually sell any. If they don't they won't offer anything like it again. If they do, more money in their pocket.
Fact of the matter is, I bet they've already sold many packages. Like more than 100.

And I would also seriously doubt these 'mechs would be completed on time.

I want to know how they plan on introducing them to the game. Will it be strictly Clan vs. IS or will they allow IS factions to field them? I know they have probably neutered them so that they aren't any more powerful than IS mechs, but there is still the "cool" factor that will pull a great number of players away from IS factions. I need to know how they plan on preventing that.
Way too many questions...too little answers. Here's to hoping they address it ASAP.

All the mechs will be available for Cbills so I'll just wait for that. That's not too hard.

No fricken thanks. The smartest thing I did was not to buy phoenix, and I think it will be even smarter not to spend money on Clans. No information NO MONEY. I have ZERO trust for Piranha games at this point and Piranha will never regain it from inept forum and development practices.

The question would be what do you think he's here to do?

It was posted in the Gameplay Balance subsection. Be angry at the clan package, not the mod doing his job.

The mod moved it from Gameplay Balance because it's an Upcoming Features topic.
