A single, non-coordinated warrior in the field is a "free kill" or at least an easy target.
Wring out your panties, calm down, and speak for yourself. Not all (or even most) prems in the PUG are exceptionally good at the game. They do enjoy an advantage over solo PUGgers, but not an insurmountable one. When you solo PUG, you are mastering the fundamentals of mech-combat. Some get into the premade game too early and get soft on "Roger, switching fire to Juliet." style play before they really know how to drive and fight in their mech. They glance over the fundamentals.
As of now I solo PUG excusively. When I come up against a premade, I'm pushing myself to see if I can overcome their communication advantage with my own technique. Often, I cannot and I take my lumps and learn and grow from them.
But often enough to not be a fluke, I get to shove their little nerdhelm walkie-talkie rigs so far up their a*!es that they don't want to troll the PUGs anymore for the night. No offense to all my good friends who run prems in the PUG, but like the movie says, "
None of you seem to understand. I'm not locked in here with you..."
Pre-game lobby is on the way. You will get to swap around your mechs and what not based on your map (which I think is lame and will put an end to anyone's efforts to field balanced, "jack-of-all-trade" mechs). None of that is going to help you against premades so long as you exhibit the defeatism your post displays.
