MarineTech suffers from chronic short-term memory loss. I've told him many times that the only thing I drink is homebrew made out back in my family's private still, but he keeps forgetting!

The short-term memory loss is believed to be the result of prolonged exposure to head-thumpers. MarineTech encountered these frequently when he lived in his old apartment.

Nightmare seems to be completely oblivious to the fact that repeated head trauma is not considered a critical injury to a Marine, no matter how many times you remind him. I attribute this rejection of reality to the mass consumption of girly drinks, regardless of whether he refers to a Cosmo or a Fuzzy Navel as "Homebrew."

MarineTech knows that the only truly critical injury to a Marine is when an Army or Navy guy is better than him at something.
