Edit: Here's another, to prove it wasn't quite a fluke. xD On the downside, I sure am cooking this thing a lot. Might downgrade the engine for more heatsinks once I get Speed Tweak.

wow! that's nasty, I'd hate to run into you when that thing has more efficiencies unlocked. Had this game tonight in my elited 3M. Used 5 MLs and my recently bought level 5 mods for range and cooldown. Aiming for 800 damage next!

im also debating between 3M and 1E, you get a extra gun but you also overheat quicker

The other diff is that the lasers are all arms, so if you get both blown off you got no weaps.. buuuut I don't think I've ever survived that long for that to happen lol

I'm thinking of getting the 3M just for the dual AMS alone. TheB33f's Point Blank AMS video hath inspyr'd me. The real question is what else to put on it... pair of MPlas, or a bunch of SLas maybe. Maybe two mediums and three smalls... hrmmm...

And for 3M its more interesting - a have archived stats (before reading first post) and current (after i read it, plus from elite to master):
Before (playing as - scout-support):
K/D: 1.09
W/L: 1.62
Avg Dmg: 171
After:
K/D: 2.06
W/L: 1.2
Avg Dmg: 271
Average:
K/D: 1.85
W/L: 1.27
Avg Dmg: 251
well, team was better off when i was mostly scouting, but its much more fun for me now. But it maybe because before i had 42 games and after 156 - statistical error in "before" is much greater (plus game changed a lot).
Also this answers for me why 1v is tier 5 and 3m tier 4 - no matter how i play it, i get much better results (and suffer less). But since you do a lot better in 1v and 3s - maybe problem is with me, not mech.

I really did get off to a bad start with the 3M, I'm sure it's not the mech lol. I was 1 kill to 12 deaths and a sub 0.5 W/L at one point. I mentioned this before but I tend to play over-aggressively with that mech, which means higher death rate. I found that mech hardest to play before it was elited (makes sense, because of doubled heat efficiencies after, etc).
The 1V is a real dice-roll, mech. FIrst you gotta get lucky in that your allies help remove the enemy's armor. Then you gotta get lucky with crits to hit an ammo bin or big gun. I guess I've been lucky so far. I thought the Cicada 3C with 4 mg and a LPL/PPC was tough to play, but at least that laser can do actual damage lol.
You have a larger sample size, too (though even that might not be that important because the game is prone to dramatic changes). I'm only about 45 matches per each Locust.
