Not quite. With Saber mechs in February and March we still have April and May before June. I hope for Flea, though PGI's mention of "controversial light mech" makes me afraid that they've decided to throw Urbie to fanbois instead.

'Controversial Light Mech' is a pretty open field. Some examples of lights that would definitely be controversial:

Panther (35 tonner with a 65 kph top speed)
Ostscout (35 tonner with only a medium laser or worse, only a TAG)
Firestarter (35 tonner with four flamers by default)
Javelin (30 tonner with only missile hardpoints)
Hermes (30 tonner with two medium lasers and no other weapons)
Hornet or Mercury (both 20 tons, both toting only two weapons each)

All of these canon/stock, and of them the Ost, FS, Hermes, and Mercury all lack jump jets.

Russ said it won't be the Panther that's coming out next, so you can pull that out of your list.

Now that we have the Crusader camo, we should get a Warden camo as well.

I thought that the Crusader pattern would have been sold for Falcon, Jaguar and Ghost Bears' iconic 'Mechs..?

Well.. i guess no..

Ost mechs are unseen, we won't get those.

They were re-qualified as not-unseen, in a recent turn of events.

They said the patch will be pretty small.
Wait for the next one and look forward to the UI2.0 and other nice things in february. (and the other things in the following months)

There's nothing in the UI 2.0 mechlab that would be considered "nice" by the "minority".

BTW, loving the improved communication. First no fiction for the hero mech, now, no patch notes?

Awesome work guys.

This is the sort of thing that generates talk of the "minority". Most of us are seeing every mech out there except for the Trebuchet and Quickdraw.

And I for one even see a fair amount of those.
(and fear the pilots in them far more than I do the pilots in the "Meta" mechs)

What are you talking about? The Patch Notes page has been updated since at least 11:30am PST (that's when I checked it), which was about 2 hours before you posted.

It would really nice if when y'all do a new pattern you'd post some screen shots of what it looks like on a couple-few 'Mechs.

There's no thread here like there usually is, so we can't discuss it in that thread (which is why we're discussing it here)

Am I wrong to think the Stalker is still superior, despite the arm articulation on the Battlemaster?

I've kinda thought of it as a "slightly more productive Awesome except the Awesome gained 5 more tons in the wrong areas, making it less flexible".

The BLR (1D especially and an all energy 1S to a lesser degree) can be equitable to Stalkers imo. They can roll torso well, allowing for occasional XL usage (but then you are committed to fighting from fringes vice getting into the facehug brawl). High torso points are decent and arm articulation comes in handy but ultimately the mech is still not a VTR/HGN for 12's.

Alot of fun for me personally though.
