It's gonna be great. I can't wait for rain and snow obscuring visibility even more, and battle damaged cockpits being harder to fight out of.

We might actually be getting some serious sim elements.

It's called ''feedback''. Most companies appreciate receiving it, because it helps them satisfy and retain their customers.

feedback is one thing what i'm seeing isn;t feedback its a bunch of grown men crying that "they can;t see anything at all" or its ruining their ability to play the game because they can't see perfectly clear 1k away so they go back and reactivate old alt accounts from may or whatever that are still "rookies"to add voice to their displeasure, i mean what you 1/2 of you guys say to your teenage kid if they acted the way you do whenever they didn;t get exactly what they wanted, no matter how hard you tried to add to, or fix whatever it was you did for them, got em a car for example and they acted like this because the windows got smudged or it didn;t get 100 horse power or whatever. you'd tell them to grow up, and if your as upset as you are because you've spent crazy money on the game, then stop doing that, you support a game company that you claim to hate by throwing hundreds of dollars at them, then come here and moan and groan that your not getting your moneys worth................you know what? forget it your all adults you can make your own decision, and mines going to be to stop getting into debates with mechwarrior forumites

I've long since come to the conclusion that the art/visual devs are working overtime and releasing new content, while the devs that are actually in charge of balance are either not communicating with/understanding each other, or they are working on their backsides and with their heads firmly up their tail-pipe (hence, the release of the clan 'mechs and the TERRIBLE balance proposal by Paul Inouye).

I love how I still have yet to see a screenshot of the "horribad" glare on any other map or situation outside of HPG.....

Instigator...

You know full well someone will drop into HPG and putz around until they are able to reproduce the offensive example possible and that singular example will become the poster-child referenced from now to eternity.

Can't we also assume that someone will make screens without the sole intent of sabotaging counter-argument's to the OP's grievance?

"Bad apple" paradox...

The windscreen filter / glare issue, while noticeable all the time... is most noticeable under only specific situations. I.e...

Why should someone go out of their way to example what is seen 95% of the time when the forwarded issues are only viewable less than that?

Dynamic Glass is something I'd like. This is the first step to it.

Example: Dirt get son your window from esplosions and smoke and stuff, and it gradually moves off as you move of if you go in water.

With so many other things that need to be done to make the game viable, it's almost criminal for work to be going into silly window dressing.

No offense OP but the minion why made the glass filter is not the same one shuffling 1s and 0s into code.

I cannot understand why this concept is so difficult for folks to grasp?

It's like expecting your Mcdonalds cashier to, after taking your order, suddenly rush into the back and form your hamburger patties and plop them on the grill...

I just figured it out...Between the flooded cockpit (poor seals) and the non functioning electronics (No Signal monitors), these mechs must have been manufactured by British Leyland!

The entire windscreen thing is immensely annoying. The weather and USELESS monitors that are intentionally placed to obscure our views are already bad enough.

The dirt on the windscreen is going way too far.
If it's ganna be dirty then the wipers need to work (but we know that will never ever happen in this game)

The idiocy of this change is immense.

WHO EXACTLY WAS REQUESTING THIS?
WHAT IN THE HELL COULD CAUSE THEM TO THINK WE WANTED THIS?

PGI: "oh they dont like film grain"... "They will love this". "If they dont we will make a mod for it".
"Wait they dont like their vision blocked in any way?" "Lets put in black out next patch, they will like that im sure"
"Wait, how come we cant grasp the simple fact they dont want their vision blocked or silly things added for no reason cept we cant get CW off of paper and need to look like we are doing something"
