The reason you see so many duplicate posts here is because a certain group of individuals attack on every thread. They dilute any chance of a meaningful conversation on a subject by posting their memes over and over. The intent is not to stop posting of duplicate threads but censor by attack over and over.

These guys thrive and celebrate trashing threads by creating enough discourse and sidetracking to get them moved by K-town. I invite all of you to go there and see the patterns and the players that make all that possible.
And yes the Mods side with this behavior because it works to their benefit and agendas. A year of dealing with this makes it plainly obvious. Creating division in a population works to the leaderships benefit. We see that all around us in real life and here on the forums. Just apply some critical thought and common sense and what is happening here is clear.

I don't blame the posters for creating this climate. Those types of people exist in any segment of population. I fully blame PGI for allowing it to blossom and continue. Either it is intentional or they just don't care.We have to decide that ourselves.

Fire the mods and get ones who will not be arbitrary and capricious in moderation. Then clean up these people seeking to control without authority.

It's an ugly truth behind why the majority of this community is so toxic. Thank you for having the brass to say it.

Just as ok as it is for you to continue an off-topic conversation :(

Like I said as long as we agree the rules are for other people, when we are doing "justice", or just annoyed by repeat topics but policing and justice make it sound better. I just don't cloak my actions in notions of helping people.

Yes, either we defend against a comment like this, or we make a comment that draws your position out to take aim at our position. In this thread it is perfectly legitimate to bring up Premade/PUG discrepancies as it is the topic of the OP. But in other topics, it is just a bunch of *** for tat. I say something to support pre made teams and you fire back with PUG support. Or you make a PUG support comment and I reply with Pre made support, we are both defending our position, as we should IF we believe we are in the right.

There are at least two sides of every debate and expecting one camp to sit on its hands while its position is brought to task, is just in poor taste. :(

I agree 100% with you Lockwood. I sorta disagree with Mud on this topic, but he has a good head bout him, even if he supports his position a bit passionately.

We should have VOiP, but since we do not, we can use the TS3 servers that are provided for us to use until the DEVs get around to including VOiP. Until such a time as we have in game VOiP, it is the compromise we have.

Are you a regular poster in k-town? If the answer is no the post was not intended for you.

It would be pretty neat if frequently recurring subjects raised by the community (whether people personally agreed with them or not as being an issue) got a listing in comstar focus group in order that there was a central place to discuss them. Otherwise forums gonna forum.

Ahhh so what you're saying is that all the posts that have duplicate posts that don't get posted in don't have duplicate posts? Show me which ones those are sir. Show me where duplicate posts are caused by anyone other than what I've described. It's interesting when people who support or perform that use "they posted a meme" to justify something.

The sad thing is you know that's not true. You know it's a flat out lie. You know this because you and I BOTH have had some pretty good exchanges of ideas in a few different threads. You keep on thinking it's some sort of evil conspiracy or ulterior motive though sparky. You keep trying to convince others of it. Let me know how that works for you. The sad thing is I've made it a point to simply avoid saying anything to you because I was trying to be a bit more "diplomatic" but your tired rhetoric and rivel of "Premades make me angry" and "There's a select few that are ruining the game and forums" is just that, drivel.

Why don't you look at yourself for once and realize that nobody is "out to get you" msot of us could care less what you do or say because regardless of what you think we have more important things to do than sit around and plot out how "I can screw mud over today"
Get over yourself dude. You're just not that important.

I have 8 hours a day to wait for him to say something about premades, and everyday I get to respond to one with a But I PUG too reply.

Outside of this one topic, I really agree with most of his thoughts. :)

That's really the sad thing. He's so strung up on being a victim of premades that he won't listen to anything other than that and continues to try and convince everyone he's some sort of martyr. It's mentalities like that that don't allow for any discussion. Even when people agree with him he does nothing but talk abotu how they touched him in the a bad place.

I also like how K-Town is used as an example to show "bad" people. Since Mud has posted there (and had a few threads sent there IIRC) I wonder what that says.....

I'm sure that will jsut be chocked up to some conspiracy to "silence" him (because you see how well THAT worked ;) )

You can change it around any way you want. Look in a mirror yourself.

There are a small number of posters who see fit to think they are forum police and can trash any thread at will because its outside their view of the forums.

No one is accusing me of bullying here but I see several complaints daily about you and roadbeer and some others less frequently.

You cannot even approach that because you know how others feel about your antics and finding fault in your actions is unacceptable.

Just grow up the bunch of you. Your not mods and you have no say above anyone else logged on here. What is posted and how its posted is none of your business. You have a report button so use it instead of fouling any thread you don't like.

How about you first? Just as many "complain" about you being nothing more than a troll. I suppose those don't count though....

Point being stop playing the victim and martyr so much and you might actually get more people actually listening to your ideas if you would stop posting something about premades every other post. You're so blind in your anger you refuse to acknowledge anything outside of that. You want to make it into some sort of personal thing. Once again though I imagine this will just be met with your usual "You're mean, premades are evil, or some such post" completely ignoring anything said.

I have read enough of your posts to understand. Anyone holding a different position from you is wrong. Not even the Mods are safe from your finger pointing. Fire the Mods, ban anyone with a different point of view. You portray yourself as the righteous forum warrior, defender of the pug.

I pity any new player coming here looking for help. After reading your posts one can assume the game is broken, PGI doesn't care, every game is a stomp, and premades, groups, factions, clans, mercs, etc. are only here to pound new players into the ground. If anyone creates a toxic environment, it is you.

Yep, You see me mocking others on multiple threads everyday.
See me posting about sending threads to K-town everyday
an definitely see me posting "I'm glad someone has the nerve to post about this" everyday too.

I am such a pariah. :P

fixed that for you
and highlighted that last part just to show you how you can't get outside of the "premades are evil, they only want to stomp players" idea or even accept taht not everyone is like that. I don't expect you to acknowledge it but I think it does show where you're coming from.

Just ebcause you post "premades are evil" instead of "i'm glad someone finally got the nerve" doesn't make any difference.

No, but I'd love to see your serious effort in premades where you lost 12-4 or worse. And having Bravo do a whopping -60 damage combined-, too.

What's amazing is the one that did 9 damage actually got a kill. 12-7 isn't anywhere in the range of stomp.

Also, note that your lance had top 4 damage, and the Stalker ALONE outdamaged Bravo and Charlie.

Certainly does seem that having a premade on voice comms did mean you outperformed the PUGs with you by a huge margin.

Just to you guys in the stomper crews.

Lets say I never played MWO. I come to the forums looking for help. I can read multiple threads about ELO/matchmaker is broke, the grind is to hard, C-Bill earnings to low, weapons balance is terrible, PGI doesn't listen, etc..

But the biggest one, premades are wrecking the game. Never once on TS3 have I heard someone tell a new player leave, we don't have time to help you. Myself and others have spent plenty of time explaining mechlab, weapons configurations, etc. to new players hoping that they will stay long enough to get better. Then add them to friends list, drop with them in a 2,3,4 man, and then stay with them while they figure out how to turn, shoot, don't die. PGI needs to do a better job with training, but until then, the best chance they have is an evil premade.
