To the mechs configuration.

Please put the item name and item date together and the picture at the end.
Or even better, remove the picture at all - it is only irritating anyway

That IS funny.. but it has nothing to do with sarcasm being lost on me. It would have helped if I knew that Star Citizen was a competitor game. I just checked it out.. looks SWEET! Piranha get ur sh*t together cuz u have some competition!

this ui 2.0 is awfull ...still not instinctive, no ergonomy here. there is no more ensemble view , there is no way to feet quickly your mech , too many Under menu , can t make some drag and drop easily too put on your loadout on your mech ...why this ??? why make a worste ui than the one before ...please offert the possibility to have a roll back of the interface ....when i have to make the mech fit or loadout i just want to cry , i prefer go with an un modified mech than try to navigate in the mechlab ....shame on you to not make a more handled interface ...i think you re loosing many people with this ui 2.0 ....please roll ...the fastest you admit it as an error , the fastest you ll regain respect and customers ...

So Iv given it some time.
Building mechs is NOT FUN anymore! Its a pain in the back side. Why would you build a UI that needs its own tutorial?

Im checking out Star Citizen that someone mentioned, too bad MWTactics and Hawken both suck... really disappointed in PGI.. I invested a lot of time and money into a game that has been a cornerstone of my gaming experiences since the 80s (Going back to paper). UI 2.0 has simply ruined the game for me.. As Funkadelic said the Mechlab is a nightmare and no longer fun.. its supposed to be FUN not a PIA. Add that to the unsufferable bleeps and bloops.. I'm done. At least until they fix this mess.

I accidentally spent my 21000 GXP on one of my master mech skills :D The old ui it was way easier to tell what type of xp you were using to buy a skill.

Please remove the pointless confirmation dialog after unlocking efficiencies; it serves no purpose and only makes the UI all that much more of an annoying click-fest. A simple message that pops up then disappears without having to click would suffice, if nothing at all. Thanks.

Also, please add 360 rotate functionality to the Home page. As is, you can't rotate your mech on this screen for some reason.

Which is weird because it's the one screen that seems to focus on just the mech the most...seems logical that you should be able to visually inspect your mech on this screen.

I'd also like a certain amount of zoom capability to examine the mech up close and at a distance.

1. Filters are ineffective. They rearrange things in odd ways and show mechs I don't own, even when I select to show only owned mechs (trials).

2. Mech Loadout... we make it where you can't see the loadout very well? The previoius UI had it well situated, you could see the current loadout and details, and easily select which part of the mech to do whatever on. Just seems not very functional or fluid.

3. Rename mechs - like it.

4. Font/text size/clarity - It looks terribad. Like something off an old green monitor.

5. Check out? This isn't ebay, its my mech bay. "Save Loadout" plz.

6. It definitely takes FAR too long to navigate. Every time you click one thing you have to confirm it. Please. No more click-menu-warrior.

7. Home screen every time the game ends? I want my mech bay.

8. Also seems sluggish between menus. Old UI I had no probs switching screens/menus.

9. Is there a favorite mech selection anymore (the 4 you could check mark and have on the home screen)? I used that to not where modules were. Is that gone now?

10. No rag and drop?

11. The items menu is... well. Its there. Seems so bulky and space consuming...


It is not user friendly. It is not efficient. Its too much to bother with, so that after I find myself lost in the UI I just don't feel like trying to play the game. In short the new UI doesn't have half the functionality of the old. Can we have an option to roll back to the old please? Please no more half finished projects dumped into a released game.

It has been 11 days now.

11 days where I tried to use the UI as little as possible. Where I played MWO less than I wanted.

11 days where you couldn´t spend the 10 minutes it would have requried to make the fonts readable.

If scaling is taking so long to implement, just add more pixels as a stop gap measure. Or make the text bold. Or put s p a c e between the letters. Anything to make it functional.

I hope you get a headache from trying to read this as do I from your UI. While most of the screen is occupied with repeating huge icons of weapons, modules etc. It just makes no sense.

Do something. Now.

Maybe they thought it was opposite day when they released this UI to the world. Opposite day, where everything bad is good.. everything unintuitive is intuitive, and everything that should be big is small..

Here's a crazy thought? Why not allow us to outfit our mechs with whatever equipment we want in the mech bay, regardless of how many C-bills we have. Only when we try to 'check out' should we get the warning that we don't have enough CB's. This way we can tool around in the bay and come up with different and future design plans for our mechs.

After building the ultimate mech (in theory) but not having enough money to outfit it, this will give the player more incentive to keep playing and earn that much desired money. Works for both the player and you PGI.

On top of that.. why not give the player the option to save templates of different loadouts for each mech. I had some great loadout's in the past but over time forgot what they were.

Anyone agree with these ideas?

Will never happen. They expect you to buy an additional Mech Bay and additional Mechs. (of the same type) That is their theory.

But each mech has its own variety of hardpoints. There's only so much you can do with each mech. I would still be buying mechs cuz of their different hardpoints...

Can you please fix the match so that it ends when the last person is a Disco... and not have to go on a g/d pointless chicken hunt to find the mech
