What is with the servers today?

I've been disco'ed and kicked off of the server twice today. I've only played 4 matches.

I'm not TK'ing, abusing anyone, not AFK. Just trying to rack up some kills in my mo-hawked Urbie.

I'll check to see if my install is corrupt, but it wasn't all the previous 6 months....

Have PGI done their usual and ****** things up a bit? Reason I ask is after a bit of a hiatus playing battletech (getting annoyed by the totally meaningless skull rating) I came back for a quick blast night to find in Solaris suddenly every mech in D3 is now a king crab and my once easy mode (almost) banshee 3e now gets squished by kg's when previously they were only a rare appearance.

Have they been moved down in ranking for some stupid reason or have they reversed the banshee's quirks?

At least quick play was actually fun for once.

OK, it isn't just me.

PUG dropped, 2 of the assaults disco'ed as they were falling from the dropship. Never reconnected.

They were conversing and seemed like they were willing to play, so I don't think it was deliberate.

Remodeling an empty house that's far enough away that we decided to just camp out in it with sleeping bags and camp stoves and the like to save ourselves the commute time and "increase our efficiency".

I worked at a company like that once. Totally soul destroying.

The problem was that the company wasn't producing equipment that would even run out of the factory and customers kind of expected it to. As the rep for the company, I took the brunt of all customer dissatisfaction. Even after I got the machine running.

So glad I don't work there anymore.

E;ectro in the Uk there is a culture of hyper-entitlement. moaning, whining and complaining are what people here do. Everything outside of perfection is unacceptable, everyone works from home and is super important.
The people that call me never stop to reflect on when their workplace makes mistake.

One of my maxims is that I'm always polite to phone support That and I'm always nice to the wait staff at restaurants. .

Ranting and raving at someone is counter productive.

I really feel bad for my internet provider phone support at times. The company that they work for does not inform their phone support when there is an area wide outage. Usually 5 to 10 minutes into the conversation they find out that I'm not the only one who's internet doesn't work.

I also think that the UK is alone in the hyper-entitlement trend. I'm seeing more and more of that here in the US..

Managed to get another highlander (733) and a banshee 3E in battletech last night to join my other 732B and lrm boat Catapult C1 making a lance with some serious firepower (except for the banshee).

Dropped into an easy match expecting the skull rating to be meaningless as usual, faced a commando, a spider, a locust and a hunchback 4g. The hunchback got focused and didn't know what hit it. The spider got too close to my banshee so it killed the fresh spider with one punch. Each highlander then did a highlander burial on the commando and locust respectively. The rest of the reinforcements were equally ******.

Then swapped to MWO.

Nope nothings changed still the same old pendulum stomps.

I think they fixed the skull issue with the latest patch. I'm finding the skulls usually represent expected tonnage now instead of Random number of skulls and a vague name.

Still pretty tired of the oneshot kill of my otherwise unscathed mech with a head punch or a extremely lucky shot. But then again, it is pretty close to tabletop when it comes to that....

I think PGI has thrown in the towel and simply turned off the matchmaker....

Edit: apparently thay have given up on having any kind of decent hit registration also... 18 MLs to the ST of an assassin and it still had armor? WTF? had 6 gauss rounds pass straight through it too... I honestly think PGi is at their absolute limits and are simply incapable of improving the game any further..........
