Tonight was the first night since I started playing the game that I did not want to play.
This past week has been so horrible in game, by today I had just had enough:( Awful team after awful team.It just makes me feel a tad sad, the thought of playing tonight made me cringe...

Okay, it my turn has came to post here: I totally hate PUGs this weekend, I guess recent giveaway has brought many players who quit MWO long ago. Now all those dumb morons are toddling around maps, do not think, do not listen; stray into the herd is absolute maximum of their capabilities. I hate 'em all.

Thanks guys, it's a nice gesture but the ELO system is what's at fault I think. The way it works. 12 games today and 10 losses. Every single time, my team just falls over lol.
You know you get the times when you feel like you have to kill the entire enemy team solo?
I WAS just over 70 games ahead on wins, now I'm down to just 14 in the space of one week. My own performance has hardly changed....ELO needs to go.

Elo's goal is to keep you at a 50% win/loss percentage.

that "elo" you guys whining about is because you run premades.
get a good win streaks. advance to higher elo brackets and then you drop solo next day.
no one is as good in solo drops as hes in in premades.
that is why you get such horrible losing streaks.

Actually.....I'm whining about the poor quality of the gameplay experience due to Assault mech pilots who can't break 100 damage. Or Jaeger pilots who can barely break 50.....
Or pugs who are not aware of the four enemy 50m from them.
Or the ones who refuse to work together, or refuse to speak.

Yeah, us evil premades get used to having players who can think, react inside 2 minutes, speak to each other and aim.
Playing this game on your own is just misery, if you even remotely care about the match result.

Been thinking. Maybe a chunk of this poor play the last month or two has been due to a lot of 'springbreak-itis' with varied easter holidays allowing lots of people extra time to check out the game, not knowing what to do, having bad matches and quitting.

And a frustrating time was had by all.

took me 3 times as long to get 5 wins then usual at the moment. usually on the side that has half the players struglling to get over 100dmg. i don't mind this sort of thing occasionally but 40-80% of my team composition being derpy is happening about 8 out of 10 matches. i'm seeing losing streaks i've never experienced before. in the past many moons ago it was a common complaint about the MM and teams etc. this is the first time i've hit such a wall and i've pugged for years now. i'm just sorely dissapointed that it's gotten so bad that even i'm hitting what they dub elo hell or something. i've never seen so many not so much bad but clueless and senseless players in the game before

The big part of that is there's sooooooo many inexperienced players hopping on and PUGing this weekend to get the free mech. Odds are pretty certain you're going to be paired up with many of them unless you're dropping in a group.
