I'm starting to see Top 10 Faction Challenge players in my games, which I'd like to think is a reflection of my increasing skill...but I know (based off of the general end results) has probably more to do with something I must have done to enrage the Gods of ELO!

And apparently they are demanding I sacrifice myself in combat as tribute to appease them. :P

Oh those rascally Gods...

I was thinking the same thing, but also with recognizing players from some of the better teams. Like The House of Lords. I believe their thoughts were, which idiot brought LRMs to a gun and PPC fight as the 12th mech was destroyed 3 minutes into the match. They are that good.

i can't do anything right. Can't break 100 damage today. Losing streak.. the harder i try the worse i get, My poor team.

I see that hit reg is still horrible

had a 1 v 1 brawl with a meta TWolf in my summoner....at the end of it I was dead and he remained unscratched because literally none of my shots registered

Edit: another game...CERPPC shots passing straight through enemy mechs...not a hint of damage being done....

I thought they implemented fixes to all this recently?

Twolf hitboxes seem to be broken after watching more than half a dozen matches where cored/stripped Twolves walk away laughing at LRM barrages/Alpha strikes and just plain meta nonsense that snuff every other mech in the game, including clan mechs of similar condition.

Was reading the forums and read an excellent suggestion. Was the first to click *like it* and moved to the next unread post. The next quoted the suggestion and read "great idea!". The poster had three *likes*!
I read the next post and it too said he liked the original suggestion. Two people had *liked* him as well...

closest game was 12-4

but hey...at least i haven't had the lag/desync problem.....yet

People that give themselves names that suggest they can shoot the testicles off a fly at 5 miles then can't get into three digit damage scores.



If there was an auto renaming feature most of these people would find themselves renamed with handles like 'Couldn't find his ass in the bath', or 'Toes shot off in bear hunting accident'

My biggest gripe right now are the players who do the following:

1. Drop in an assault mech.

2. Insist on dropping skirmish mode

3. Refuses to even consider the notion of map awareness and gets tunnel vision.

4. Complains in all-chat about how his team left him behind when he gets himself surrounded and killed.

I've gotten so sick of listening to direwolves complain that they cannot physically keep up. So I downgraded my banshee to go 53 kph and ran skirmish all night. Almost every map I was pushing the lead of the pack while mechs faster than me lagged behind.

This is not an engine speed problem, it's a player problem. People stopping to smell the roses, taking long circuitous routes, or going the opposite direction of their teammates. The engine only comes into play once it's too late and they try to escape their overrun position. It is always your fault when you get surrounded and killed early in a match.

I know half of you will scream at me that I'm wrong, but this is my whine post, so you can shove it!

I'd really like to be able to equip more than one mech module to my scouts. I think it'd be really useful to have increased sensor range, target info gathering and maybe seismic sensor. Y'know, to enhance my role..? I actually WANT to scout!
But apparently, PGI does not agree.

But, I can mount two noobstrikes.....

I don't feel like the Jenner is a viable mech right now and I really miss the occasional run in my Sarah's Jenner.

I know the Jenner has a big center torso hit box, but it seems like it got even bigger lately. I don't know, maybe I just suck more than I used to.

When half the team fails to get 200 damage.

It's an even greater miracle when all 24 players in the match manage to deal at least 100 damage.


The PUG life isn't always very fun.

There's a lot more damage potential now, even if it's from the allegedly bad clan lasers.

Regardless, feels like most of the Jenner fans have long ago switched to Embers....
(or recently, maybe switched to timberwolves).

Speaking of spiders... I hate jumping lights who shrug off damage better then 3 assault mechs combined. Somebody give me a pat on the back as I woe over dumping a 60 point alpha into a jumping ember and end up with barely any damage.

Sitting behind cover for 50%-60% of the time if your weapons don't have 600+ base range hoping your pokers can kill their pokers. Or die charging into C-Gauss/C-ER PPC.

I wholly agree my friend. Imagine two mates load this game up and group up for their first 25 matches. Do you think they'd still be playing by match number 25?
The staggering amount of noobstrikes per match is out of control. Pay a cbill tax for extra damage basically.
The saddest thing is, half the spammers are millionaires who can't even see what their spamming is doing to the gameplay. As long as they win-it's fine.
Noobstrikes should be limited to lights. They should also take up weight. Reduce the amount of people who can access them, but here I think the goal is to induce us to slow our own grind down via the noobstrike tax:)
