i believe the oldest still in use thread is the current "Daily Whine" which came after the Original Daily Whine thread disappeared, which was started back in closed beta.

BTW i am masters master locust pilot having master all 7 variants. and most of the troll builds including the littlest LRM dingy

oddly enough I've posted quite a bit in all 3 of these threads... though I've slacked off on the locust one when they became good. though I fondly look back at the LRM Dingy from time to time but haven't brought it back out yet

I have to agree that the littlest LRM boat is a troll build, but what is worse than saying, I got killed by a stock urbie. I was tier 5, but got a new computer, so I get to play with 35+ fps instead of 6 to 14 fps. That is really fun trying to master the locusts and urban mechs. I am gaining more appreciation for them day after day, now that I can see what I am shooting at.

And thanks for pointing out the older threads. The daily whine and the under rated locust. If I am correct, many people on this rant, are also on those, myself included.

Does anyone else think that our beloved Urbie is going to be hit by the nerf hammer?

I am doing way to well in mine and usually that means that the powers that be are about to remove the fun out of piloting that mech.

I can see them removing armor quirks and putting them into structure. That is generally what happens to mechs that are "over-performing".

i can only hope for the clan can to balance but more then likely it will be the nerf hammer. but like the locust before, the nerf hammer will weed out the unfaithful. the rest of us will be "bring it on"

it is somewhat pull-offable with a 100 engine. ac20 2.5 tons of ammo w/ skills is pretty much 3 tons and a SL as ":backup". need to use single heat sinks though to make the ac20 fit. and shave armor. but at least the annihilator isn't running past you.
