Gah here is some video of me and Melt going with some pugs against a 12 man premade. I don't expect to run into these kinds of units all the time but it sucks that people are still able to bring 8 Cheetah, 3 Atlas, and 1 Stormcrow to a fight.

Phew! The last couple of nights have seen some hard fighting! I dusted off Ravager, my HBK-4G, and took it out for a spin. As always when I pilot my HBKs, my KDR has climbed. I also cracked a lot of skulls and made bank! Man, I really love these Mechs! Whatever the Rebalance holds, I really hope it doesn't include any nerfs for them!

I'm all settled back into the Brethren Compound. Works keeping me limited but I'm lovin my Wolfhounds and falling back into my Light / Medium guerilla tactics. Even won myself one of those Timberwolves this Halloween! the Captain is back, and he's protecting the Code with fire and blood!

These are the dueling rules for my match with Soy tomorrow night:

Day: Thursday 11/4/15
Time: 11:00 PM, EST
Location: Terra Therma Central Crater; leaving the crater counts as a loss.
Mechs: Any
Tech: Any
Modules: Yes
Consumables: Yes, though Soy claims he won't use them.
Match Timer: 20 minutes
Game Mode: Skirmish

We'll enter the crater and go take up positions opposite each other behind the boxes. That prevents anyone from getting an Alpha Strike right as the match opens, as well as placing arties on each other immediately. One of the spectators will signal us to start, at which point the match begins. It ends when one of us is dead. The entire crater is fair game for combat, but the contestants cannot leave the crater. Leaving the crater disqualifies the combatant and counts as a loss.

Though I was the challenged party, I offered Soy the first choice at setting rules. He spurned it, stating that the only ones he cared about were 1) He brings no consumables; 2) I do bring consumables; and 3) I die.

Obviously, I couldn't agree to Rule 3), but I did agree to Rules 1) and 2). The date, time, and location were set by me. I believe someone on the forums volunteered to stream the match and Soy himself may be streaming it. Unfortunately, my connection is not strong enough to stream and duel, so I will be recording it instead and will post it on YouTube the following Sunday. I regret that I cannot post it sooner than that, but I am leaving town for a trip early Friday morning and won't return until Sunday afternoon or evening.

Well, the duel didn't happen; Soy backed out in the Lobby. Can't say that I'm surprised. He seemed all bluster and no show on the forums; this just confirms it.
