You got trolled because you deleted the first thread. I don't know how many different ways people have to tell you that. But thanks for the entertainment, that thread has become the best K Town thread not actually in K Town

This is hilarious.

Your thread that you openly coached people on how to game the system and synch drop so as people could prey upon Solo's and small groups you asked the Mods to close when you were called out as a hypocrite and unethical, but you have a go at Bloodwolf for deleting his thread.

What's the difference? You went to the mods and he took the decision himself.

But you want a moral high ground?

Ha ha ha hahaha

Let me see, tell us again how you describe Solo players there? "Mindless drool under ......" or something wasn't it?

I don't have to agree with Bloodwolf's actions to call yours out as just as shallow.

Craig, even without the specific buttons, what is the process you would go through in terms of setting up the match? In terms of the logistics.

Here you go

Couldn't really say, don't have Heffays apparent knowledge on the system.

All I know is that they said it is a function of the Launch Module due on 29th (I'm sure you can read the official blurb as well as I can). I'll try it when it gets here and let you know.

So, whats your point that you want to make?

Cause clearly you have some agenda to prove me wrong and it doesn't suit you for me to say I have no knowledge of the system just yet. After all, you can't be right unless I am wrong, so.......... whats your point.

I was under the mistaken impression that you actually had some idea of what you were talking about. My bad.

Aha, and theres the point.

Never mind that not everyone is on the same timeline, never mind that people have other things to do.

If I don't have the same up to the minute experience as you do my opinion is invalid. This is the same as "Your not a Founder" argument that I have seen trotted out before.

Tell me Roland,

Does the new Launch Module have a function where players can play in groups of 5 - 11. It does doesn't it.

The function is there, and in my original post I did say it was there.

You might not like it, but it is there. So I did know what I was talking about didn't I, when I said that the blurb said the function would be enabled on 29th.

Or are you telling me that there is no way for players to load a game with 4 to 10 friends? That PGI have broken another promise?

Explain what the process by which that is enabled, Craig.
I thought you didn't know, and couldn't explain it when I asked you do, but since you are claiming that it does, you must know how.

So please explain the use case.

I'm glad you decided that you wanted to answer the question, and eagerly await your answer.

You really don't like answering questions that don't suit your argument do you.

If I posted like you do, people would say I was being slippery and unwilling to answer questions.

Others would say I am changing my view, that I am not consistent.

Here you go, I'll requote it for you.

Are you telling me that the Test Module has no function that enables players to play in groups of 5 - 11?

Its a simple question, you having extensivily tested the Launch Module should be able to answer it no? A "yes" or a "no" will suffice.

I'll eagerly await your reply, not that I think I will get one.

I'll be back shortly, hopefully you can type the two or three letters that answers the question before I get back.

So you aren't going to answer the question?
That's ok then. I have no desire to engage you in conversation then.

Can't manage a "yes" or a "no"?

It's not about "desire" to engage in conversation Roland, it's about ability. You seem to not have any.

No wonder you prefer discourse with people who already agree with you.

Isn't that self fulfilling? You say you don't read the posts, then say they don't say anything.

Still, you got another like so you probably feel good about that.

Got to keep that ratio up right?

Craig now gets to go onto the ignore list! I urge others to do the same, as the humor factor will go up dramatically, and then we won't have to deal with his rambling posts that don't actually say anything.

Goodbye Craig. We hardly knew ya.

So, I got around to testing the private matches.

Anything between 5-11 require PRIVATES MATCHES ONLY, and you get 0 C-bills/XP as intended...

Only had 4 people at the moment for 2v2:

Sure, we can have 5-11 players playing together... except, getting nothing in return for Premium Time.

Any excuses to suggest otherwise, you're probably full of it.

OK, great, so the function works exactly as I described it then, or more accurately as the offical blurb said it would.

Groups of 5 -11 can actually play, but there are significant criteria / restrictions around it.

Lets hope that it gets better over time I guess, but not by 29th by the look of subsequent advices from PGI. ;)

Why Roland couldn't just say "yes" idk.

Nothing at all in over 6 long posts

Craig, solo pugs want a solo que. There are quite a few people like this. 2 people isn't solo... - NO QUEUE FOR YOU

Groups/other pugs want an unrestricted queue. This is the bulk of the population - NO QUEUE FOR YOU

Groups want a dedicated private queue for leagues and so on. Small group of people - YAY! QUEUE FOR US!

edit: "Oh wait... we have to use premium time? *sigh* Fine, at least we get leagues and... WHERE THE **** ARE MY ****ing mother ****ing C-Bils and XP!?! DAMN YOU YOU SHORT SIGHTED **** ******* **** *******!".

Some people(?) want a PUG Queue including small premades with mechanics that may result in 'Premade ate my mechbaby' syndrome(3/3/3/3/). Small population - YAY! QUEUE FOR US!

Logic is lostech

I should've taken more pics, but since we'll get this on Tuesday, you'll find out soon enough.

You can't lab in the private match lobby at all outside of adding modules (usually consumables, but not limited to them).

Also, there's a bug where it doesn't list all the mechs in your mechbay there.

Additionally, the private match lobby is quirky... if the FIRST PERSON that is invited onto the second team does not have premium time, then you cannot toggle the premium time options. The game/PGI isn't "intelligent" enough to allow you to select a player from Team 2 that has Premium Time activated.

In any case, this will not really get people using the feature in general.

Roland is correct in his assumptions/assertions and so is Roadbeer.

We actually had an easier time building 2 groups (with the leader of the second group having Ptime) then inviting them into the lobby and build from there. It was pretty clunky, and you REALLY have to remember whoever's "Private Match" it is that you turn max group off (if you're dropping less than 24), otherwise you can sit there clicking the ready button and having everyone unready/reready in search of a bug that isn't there.

Also, important to know, there is no "search" feature to find similar groups, you need to utilize MWOLobby or know your OP4 for the drop in advance.
