Mine has at least ten online at any given time.

That's usually the case with me. The vast vast majority of them don't forum, and only know it exists because I relate some of the latest drama to them when I play with my friends.

People who don't read these forums are all pretty flippin' happy with the game. All they know is that there is an incredibly fun giant stompy space robot game with beautiful graphics and spot-on perfect gameplay that they end up playing all night.

And those who do forum a lot while complaining about the game... they still play all the time and buy hero mechs. So take from that what you will.

I don't know if it's funny or sad but when I see you guys arguing over weeks and through the whole forums about these damn group sizes I just think:

"Oh my god who the hell cares anymore?" and laugh.

That's basically the whole point. Nobody *does* care about the launch module or perceived slights. It's just a small group of people who don't like something minor and inconsequential who are trying to pretend they're in a real Alice's Restaurant situation and are going to change the world!

At the end of the day, we're all still playing, buying and blowing up friends and foes alike across the inner sphere. It's fabulous!

Hey I'm not talking about LM, I'm excited for that thing.
For filming and my units training and stuff.

But the whole 5-11 people thing:

Don't get me wrong but you could just set up a private match couldn't you?

In the test, the "private match" players are dropping into the public queue.

I'm sure that'll go well with everyone... especially those that prefer not to play with groups.

I'm SUPER excited about the film grain removal and free camera. Can't wait until those options become available, cause I'm gonna film the CRAP out of the game!

And yes, you are exactly right on the 5-11 group size thing. They can easily set up a private match and play with all their friends.

that solves the problem but not everyone can use premium private match and the other half is their is no rewards.

+if you use premium private match you need a pre-determined amount. Unlike the 12 free private match with launches against others of the same

How is that even possible? Private matches are set up with all the people added right from the start. People are doing small 1v1 and 2v2 without issues. They don't even get to *enter* a queue.

Still waiting on those figures, since your closely held ones are reflecting a completely different set of data from the public ones...

You keep marginalizing group play, but you are speaking as if you are part of a majority. We're not seeing it

Sure, if we use 3rd party software to find a match and are content with no rewards like XP, Cbills, or achievements and are charged for consumables. So, the whole 5-11 population still have to resort to playing in the derpqueue, to gain any kind of advancement in the game.

It happened. Why are you asking me as if this was a random event?

Well, in the LM, we had 2 premades drop on one side, and the other side had 1.
So don't question "how is that possible" when PGI is involved

Oh, you're talking the *public* queue, not the private matches. It's easy to misunderstand what you're saying when you use the wrong terminology.

You should put a post in the test forum section about how the public matches are allowing more than one group on a side.

Over multiple drops, I've asked if there was a premade in Bravo.

It seems to be common that there is a premade in Bravo, IN ADDITION to Alpha.

I wonder if that is actually going to happen in the main queue, or a "simplification" to get the overall queue "going" better.

So take a screenshot of your friends list and post it up so we can see what a full friends list looks like.

I didn't say Private, Deathlike did. I didn't have that experience in the Premium Private 3x3 matches I was running.

Also, I did put it in the feedback, plus Daemur was in the match, so it's fairly well documented.

I think Helmer was testing out private matches, and ended up dropping into the public queue.

You can ask him yourself, but I believe that was the case.

So that means you can play with 5-11 people and still get into the public queue?
Even with a free private match?

That solves all your problems, if thats right.

The funny thing is, even if you can prove that numbers are down, it doesn't mean the game is awful and that we have any leverage with PGI to change things. That's what folks are secretly hoping. "Hey, maybe if they can have dropping numbers shaken in front of their noses, they'll take out 3PV!"

All that dwindling numbers really prove is that people are waiting for Community Warfare.

It's not free. It requires premium time (I had none) to make it work fully.

That assumes CW is up to those players expectations. I'm sure UI 2.0 excited them.
