I am not justifying it... but once in a while, he is serious about what he says. If it's just random banter, he's just saying it to say it. You see a lot more when someone takes the time to write out an entire rant.

I wouldn't go that far. Sometimes it's like playing some old game with a couple of people just to screw around for a bit, and then not play it for a while. I'm not saying that he isn't lying, but I simply take it as "I'm not playing this game seriously for any length of time". That is the best you can get.

Oh yeah, we get to go to MWOLobby, find someone wanting to drop with the same size group +/-, who has premium time, then get charged for any consumables we use, not receive Cbills or XP or anything, then go back to the Derpqueue to replenish supplies.

How is this cool again? I'm obviously missing it

Please list the steps that are required for that to happen, using the new system.

Wasn't me, but in all fairness, you were alluding to the fact that as long as you can make your videos w/o film grain or cockpit glass that you didn't care about what other issues people might be "bitching" about...sooo... if the shoe fits.

I love how Heffay hasn't actually seen the Private Match screen. How is one supposed to discuss stuff that they haven't tried out?

That is kinda important to "knowing" what you are talking about.

Ah, no, because you won't actually have a game then. You'll have your friends in a private match, by themselves.
Come on man, surely you can do this and lay out a use case.

This is how you design software... by actually considering the steps that users are going to go through to perform common operations using your software.

If all you do is say, "They'll use it and then it'll work!" then that doesn't lead to particularly good software solutions. Although, given the results we've seen with UI 2.0, it's possible that their design process did end at that point.

But in this case, why don't you describe in a bit more detail exactly the sequence of events that a user is going to go through in order to play, assuming that he has started with 5 of his friends.
