Well I missed so many giveaways it seems. I only have the Centurion from last time and this one. But mech bays rule!

Cant wait to try out my mech or reconfig it....took 6 million to redo my Cent when I got it

The info graphic poster they have tells us to go to our Profile's Challenge page.. but its completely incorrect. It only shows up when in game, and like you said about 15 minutes after you completed it.

I think he means this one, it says to redeem on the bottom of the image. It got me at first as well, but my Thunderbolt finally arrived about 3 hours and several restarts later

Very nice! Great move again!

This will surely help attracting more players. The Centurion was a great move and now a Heavy mech(a Phoenix variant no less) will make this even more attractive. Thank you for the mech!

Currently having a lot of fun with my 9S. I liked the 5SS but the lack of ballistic hard points was a deal breaker for me and was one of the reasons why I like the 5S more.
I always wondered what it would be like with 2 ballistic hard points, like the 5S and the 5SS had a love child. Well, fish fish got my wish.

Finally get my Thunder Bolt 9S.

Build it with Dual AMS 3000 rounds ammo, 5 ML 1 LL and 1 SRM 200 rounds of ammo.

Go into game. Dual AMS fails to take out any enemy LRMs. Get slaughtered.

Fail.

same here but for me ams failed to take out lrms cause there are no lrms on the battle field.......
guess that insta-nerf was harsh.

Took me 8 matches to get my 5 wins. Did it in a CTF-3D, JM6-FB, and SHD-2H. Played Any unless I was in the SHD, where I wouldnt do Assault. Good luck!

How do you redeem it though? On my challenges page is says complete but I see no redeem button or code to use at the redeem page... I'm confused.

The dual-AMS is fun. I thought it would make me into the 3050 equivalent of the Israeli "Iron Dome" but that didn't seem to happen. I charged a mech with an LRM 10 and I was still taking hits just from his fire. It does seem to be effective when in groups with other AMS mechs but I wonder if it is worth it.

I haven't found a good config with the stock engine. 5 Medium Lasers just don't seem to be doing the 125% of an AC20's damage that they should, and the heat that they put off is absurd.

Also, going into the new mechlab is still hell. I had assiduously avoided it ever since the 2.0 upgrade but this new mech made me return and to all y'all who say that it is good I have only the famous Joe Wilson quote to say: "You Lie!"
