I'll stick with the 100$ i spent for the ones i want. The only thing i miss out on is the War-Horn... which i am assuming will be able to be purchased for in-game currency after Jun 17th.

My actual biggest concern gameplay wise is the game getting too many 'Mechs. I dont want the game to get into a situation where there are mechs that are just the same archetype of other mechs. That kind of redundancy is whats killed most AAA shooters for me. Granted MWO is far more complicated than something like Battlefield, but still its a concern.
I agree on Mechs.
I like to think now they only have the IS Flea left and it is delayed due to MASC I think. Maybe variants of existing ones not currently available too. Then the Clan Mechs but hopefully no more. We have enough and any Mech work not on the Flea, new variants of what we have and Clans should be spent on weapon changes for existing older Mechs, none have shown up since the Hunchback modifications. If we get lucky, someday we could convince them to look at Mech sizes.
So in terms of Mechs, all I would like to see is:
- Flea
- variants of existing Mechs
- Clan Mechs
- new weapon meshes for older Mechs (Awesome, Atlas, Cataphract, Jenner, Centurion, etc.)
With this list, there should be time to spend on other things in terms of art. Possible new screens needed for CW, drop screens(?), information screens, etc.

Ok, since you thought it was too expensive, we've dropped the price FIFTY PERCENT, you'd be an idiot not to buy them then.
(except they'd still be outrageously overpriced).
Let's see you rubes hold out when they drop that cash grab arty on your wallet.

MW 4 was a bit on the wrong side with that one.
I don't recall Timberwolves having seperate damage counters for the missile pods, they counted as part of the Side torso if I'm not mistaken.
MW 4 had a lot of mistakes, such as destroying side torsos would not cause the limb attached to them to be destroyed as well. Mech falling down, and still somehow firing back, while face down, with pinpoint accuracy. Burst fire weapons that might as well have been a single shot weapon since the animatino was burst, but the shots were practically just one projectile .... etc.
Basically, MW 4 was wrong in a lot of ways about a lot of things. I love the game (Just finished it and both expansions 4 weeks ago, for the 6th time.)

There are more players now than there were 4 years ago too, and the population over 10 years ago is absolutely stunning.
If you want me to stop mocking you when you say something stupid, you're going to have to stop saying stupid things.
you are starting to get on my nerves. I now find it obvious you have a serious problem with me. I didn't know the exact dates but i was trying to point out that they are probably doing better now then they were years ago.
"There are more players now than there were 4 years ago too, and the population over 10 years ago is absolutely stunning."-----this doesn't make much sense and doesn't tie with what i said; Not only that i was referring to MWO.
I was off by a few months.

Actually, if they are 50% cheaper then they would be a steal, and everyone would buy them. Because then they would be at 250. Which means it's only 10 dollars more than the masakari pack. The clan packs are still well priced, so it would be a steal. You'd be an idiot (or a broke person, or college student {same thing actually}) not to buy it then.
You didn't think this one through did you?

The PHOENIX pattern/colors were the exclusives. The HotRod pattern/colors were never exclusive, they were community unlocks. Everyone that pre-ordered the Phoenix packages just got the HotRod patterns/colors for those mechs for free.

When was the first round of closed beta opened up?
I would say he is 100% accurate. ;-)
LOL, you're going to compare financial success of a crowd funding promotion vs. a fully operating cash store?
Then I guess my statement that MWO is doing much better than it was 10 years ago is also correct

umm no. MWO didn't exist 10 years ago. So your implying that since it wasn't even an idea 10 years ago, that is better than what it is now. T. If you are then that is false unless your just stating that you dont like the game.? i need clarification.

I know for a fact they can't make anything with Battletech or Mechwarrior on it. Now Mechwarrior:Online might be a different thing, so they might be able to make MW:O shirts. I do know they should be able to make PGI shirts and things like that. However, people are here for the battletech stuff, not the PGI Icon.
I'll need to fish out that section of their license.
The MechWarrior:Online shirts we got at the launch party event were gifts given to those of us that got to go. PGI cannot SELL any physical or print merchandise for BattleTech/MechWarrior. Those rights seem to be strictly within the realm of Topps, Inc., who is currently licensing out to Catalyst games for the tabletop game.
Now, if you want to go and print yourself out a 3D mesh from a computer game, go ahead. Just don't SELL it for your own profit or else you'll get in a heap of trouble.

That's exactly what I'm saying, because to argue that they're better off now vs when it was in Closed Beta (and even arguably Open Beta) is completely disingenuous.
Of course they're better off than when they were in Closed Beta. You had a limited player base, fewer items, and occasional resets that prevented the need to purchase anything, when there was a good chance that you'd be getting MC replenished during a wipe.
Of course it's better than it was in Open Beta, once again because the store and items weren't entirely implemented, plus I can think of at least one occasion where MC was completely refunded when they changed the color/pattern system. Furthermore BETA still carries a stigma of "Buyer Beware" as well as many people just don't "Do" BETAs and wait for the game to Launch.
If you're going to make an HONEST argument about the financial success, you can REALLY only go from Launch to present, which is just around 6 months, because all the BETA protections and stigma attached to it is lifted.
EDIT:
Re-reading what you said, my point is that they are better off now than they were 10 years ago, not the reverse. Of course they are better off now than then. Just like of course they're better off now than when there was a limited playersbase due to BETA testing.
In short, it's a blatantly obvious statement to say the are better off now than 2 years ago, and you weren't off by a couple months as you claim. If you intend to make an HONEST statement, then you're off by about 18 months.
Which is why, I had to mock your statement. It was ridiculous and you should feel ridiculous for making it.
