My first mech experience was with this little odd 27 ton job.

My first was the training mech in MW2, though I loved the Nova, a lot. In MW2: Mercs, my first real go at a MW game due to issues with the MW2 game we had, the ever crappy Commando was first, while the Flashman was my preferred.

My first was most likely the Nexus in the SNES MechWarrior (boy doesn't that bring back memories)
Although if we're just talking canon 'Mechs then that was in MW4 many, MANY years later; I believe I first piloted a Marauder but I'm not 100% certain, my memory isn't exactly perfect.

Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries. I chose Wolf's Dragoons and piloted the Cougar, mostly because I thought it looked cool on the box art.

The first BattleTech game I played was "The Crescent Hawk's Inception" and I think the first Mech you control there is a Wasp.

The First MechWarrior game I played was MechWarrior 1 at a friends place. He was already a bit further within the game and he did let me do a mission. It was a Warhammer, remeber that well. I was so blown away by the game back then.

First mech I ever played was the Mad Cat in the MW2 demo, way back when in he schools computer lab. If I remember correctly I worked out how to fire all the guns but I couldn't make it walk so I gave up in disgust.

However the first one i actually piloted, would be that nifty little Commando 7X that you get at the start of MW2:Mercs.
