I seen the founder's got sold one heck of a story haha. At least the phoenix and clan package owners will know what they're getting into when buying those packs.

Any extra freebies (which are not needed but hey it would be nice) should be given to everybody or at least everybody that has spent money on the game. Founders already got some of the best deals ever. Heck what did the $30 package get you? 10,000mc plus a month of premium that you could save plus a month or two of premium after the last reset but before the activate button got put in. I've spent more than enough to buy founder packs (heck I did within a few weeks of founders ending) but what does $30 get me? Even with a sale it is no where near that.
Give the founders that paint back and maybe bump up the founders to hero level bonuses but anything else should be available to all.

Considering that, in the long run, what we got was much less than what other packs have gotten. I'd say we deserve a tiny bit extra...

Especially considering all the jerking around we experienced. the removal of founder exclusive colors in the mechlab [thus almost rendering the "Unique Skin's" part of founders pointless.] And how long it took them before the whole "name in the credits" bit ever actually happened...

Yeah, I think a little something extra is in order.

You deserve nothing extra. You've gotten exactly what you were advertised initially. Don't confuse wants with entitlement.

I think the cbill bonus should be raised to 30% since all hero mechs and the phoenix mechs have 30%.
Except for that I'm fine.

This.

Here. A nice refresher of what you were advertised:

And if that's too hard to watch:
* Battlemech with lifetime c-bill booster
* In-game currency
* Premium account time
* Founder's tag
* Name in credits (if certain level)
* Instant Beta Access (Oh yeah. We got to play the game in Closed Beta)

Anything else, like VOIP or CW, were not promised to founders. If you buy into an early-access game *expecting* something, you should be prepared to be disappointed. You buy into early-access based on how the game is at the time and hope for improvement, not expecting it.

Either this, or a greater loyalty point bonus than any other 'Mech in the game beyond a gold one when loyalty points come online
Date Loyalty back to First Drop date... for those who have been here the whole time. Me I shoud not get a bonus past last year at this time As thats when I started Alt Dropping more. I am still here but my "Loyalty" became questionable. ;)

That depends. Did they say there was going to be VOIP or CW?

Doesn't matter. Go look on Steam's early-access list. The developers can *say* whatever they damn-well please. You buy into early-access based solely on if you will be satisfied by the purchase with the game as-is. Anything more and you're making a risk, not an investment.

I like the joke on principle, but I shudder every time I hear a founder call their initial purchase an "investment". We are not shareholders, Fellow Founders!!

Well if they can say what they please they should have offered a free ferrari with every game purchase. That would be a real seller.... CW and VOIP... small potatos lol

So which Planets did you win from enemy hands? Depends on your play style, which do you prefer? And there is a reason.

Well, debatable. Anytime one makes a payment on a future product, it is technically, investing in the company to produce something desirable in the future. Of course, as the stock market has proven, in the words of the Rolling Stones you can't always get what you want...... (it's just instead of profits, shares or partial ownership, you are investing in faith for future entertainment.... just as risky!!!)

but yes, for one to pay money into almost anything, for the "promise" of things to come, should probably have their head examined.......

What we didn't get: A good chunk of our money actually going towards MWO, since it got sank (and boy, is that the right word) into Tactics instead.

That one thing basically ruined the entire spirit of what we expected as Founders- that our money was going towards developing MWO. Heck, it might have well been blown on trips to Vegas for all the good it did us.

You know, I was just about to respond to your first post expressing my on view at yet another "investment" analogy but then I scrolled down to this ;)
