Don't forget that you can swap hardpoints via the omnipod system they say they're going to implement. So you could theoretically get more/better hardpoints than the base prime variant.

Ah, but they said at the cost of quirks and such. They also said at one point that if you keep the stock omni-pods you'd get an xp bonus or something. So you'll want to run it stock at least for a bit, hard to say what it'll be like without the full details.

Please skip the A variant....it is just as hadpoint poor.

I would expect Alt. Conf. A to vary from Prime in the number of hardpoints, so everyone would like to get those omni-pods=more grind and more players staying in game for some time, so... nope, they won't skip Alt. A.

People have been complaining about the "griffin" cockpit, but the griffin cockpit has the best visibility of any cockpit by far, I could care less what the cockpit looks like on the outside as long as you dont have some bull crap rollbar cutting off your vision *stares angrily at the locust*

The Griffin cockpit is one of the best looking cockpits in this game. Inside and outside, a beautiful piece of polygons.

Imo.

Agreed, and its not like its any easier to headshot because you have to hit a certain point on the glass

Blocky. Asymmetric. Flat.

Yep, that is a Summoner!

I actually like the new cockpit. Gimpy arm not having a short barrel is odd but fits the concept art to a t. My only concern is how I am going to load it out. After the armor issue is fixed you only have, iirc, 20 tons to work with. Not sure what kind of firepower you can put on it. The B has some nice missile brawling options, though.

Yeah and on the %30 variant they may not let you switch out either.

Why do you need a Griffin cockpit if this mech is going to be used to poptart? The glass is all above you so it serves no purpose. All I am asking is they cover the top panes with metal to make it more Thunderbolt like.

You should feel safe in a seventy ton mech. Excessive glass works against this.

M is also timeline available.

Hardpoints are like the prime, but also has a SL in the LT.
