I like it, but I still prefer the cockpit design of the TT miniatures and the MW4 version.

Oh yeah! Looking good! Minor problems I have with it are the missile rack size and the round cockpit but this is the heavy I have been waiting for screen shots of!

?

The Summoner has a domed head, though not exactly a bubble but it is rounded.

Has anyone else noticed the size discrepancies in scale, notice the cockpit glass, Summoners foot and sedan (car) relative sizes. Seems scale is very inconsistent.

I love this mech from the lore and it's not terrible except for the scale inconsistencies. The Artists should want to take pride in their work. Don't they see this scale issue as an issue?

First off, PGI you nailed it, the Summoner is BEAUTIFUL. While there is some debate about whether armor can be added or just moved around (would be nice if PGI would clarify this). For me this is THE clan mech, very mobile, deadly from range and up close (in TT). It also highlights why nerfing clan weapons needs to be handled correctly. Not every clan mech is a Timber Wolf or a Dire Wolf. With nerfed weapons, the Summoner might wind up significantly worse than a Cataphract (especially the 3D). While speed is very important, giving up a significant amount of armor and firepower for mobility really isn't what what heavies should be doing, and the Summoner would suffer.

Again I hope PGI lets us test them out on the test server for a few weeks before they arrive (p.s. PGI, perhaps if more people like them after testing, more people will ORDER them). As for me, yes I've ordered it and can hardly wait for June 17th to get here.

Clan ultra ac20s and lbx ac20s are both smaller AND lighter. Additionally, the lower arm actuator is dynamic, so it is present with small weapons, but will auto-remove itself with larger ones.

This is a FAST CLAN heavy mech with JUMPJETS. Restricted hard points will mean you have to rely on larger weapons, rather than many smaller ones, but it is possible.

That's an assumption though, there's been no stats and I haven't seen anything about a dynamic actuator.

Don't forget they have to nerf it some how so that it will be AC20 roughly, there's a 2 ton difference between LBX10 and UAC20, then the LRM 15 is only 3.5 lbs, so might not get much ammo out of that guy. Permanent low armor and JJ's on the variant as well.

EDIT: clan info would be great, and PGI if you read this I'm pretty pissed off that I get short changed on all the clan package bonuses because you don't have any details, how about you give details THEN give a purchase deadline. Or better yet, I'll pay you $15 a month because ESO is a sack of crap, and you give me new mechs as they are released and premium time :( (Oddly, that would be much much cheaper)

They stated a while back that PPCs and larger ACs would cause the lower arm actuator to drop. They stated in a pod cast that Clan UACs would be burst fire for their balancing. They've stated a few times that they won't touch crit slots or weight as it messes up stock configurations.

If only PGI would release more detailed information on the Clans already. If I knew what they plan for Targeting Computers, and which two alternate configurations I'd be getting with the purchase of a Summoner package, they'd already have my money.

The pod cast they clearly said that was just one idea, and I'm sure there will need to be other nerfs to it. However a 7 heat DOT AC20 vs a pinpoint 6 heat one does already sound balanced.

I'm liking the look of all the clan mechs so far. The Summoner has to be my favourite. That said though, I won't be pre-ordering any of them (except maybe the kit-fox/uller) as these are not my favourite clan mechs.

Now if they had a Grizzly, Line Backer or Gargoyle (maybe mad dog) then I'd be throwing cash at my monitor.

Awesome! The bubble cockpit is different, but it will have a great view. The mech as a whole seems suprisingly thin and I really like it.

Well, your guess is as good as mine.. Match for the Victor maybe.

We will see.

lol! - thanks this made me chuckle

But seriously, how true is this about some people? If people hate it, leave and save building up volcano levels of blood pressure.

You poor thing. You haven't heard. Jump jets, equipment, and engines are fixed on clan mechs. Can't be removed. Some even have fixed heat sinks or so they've said.

Not all JJ are fixed. Some will be but unless the mech states that it is base equipment it can be removed. It could be possible all 5 are fixed It could be that there is one in each leg and CT and the 2 in the ST can be moved.
