Why this thread you think?

Between all these threads with some (justified) criticsm, feedback and interesting stories i just want to thanks PGI for trying to make the game better and for their hard work so far.

I am since Closed Beta. Not that it matters, but i have seen the game change the hard way. I do not always agree the changes PGI makes, some artwork or models, delaying deadlines and other but i appreciate their hard work, trying to listen to the community, trying to put effort in balance, monitoring the game, answering some questions, writing some interesting lore and more.

Just a thank you from me, and please keep up with this game! it's a great game. I know it's hard sometimes and you cant make every pilot happy but in am more then glad that you try; try to make the game your fun worthwhile.

Want to thank PGI and others? – Just write a "Thank you" below and i am sure they're happy to read your appreciation!

Thanks folks.. Game on!

Its like a new damn "thank you" thread every week. This is really going to blow PGIs Compliant/thank ratio.

Every once in a while I like to thank PGI in the form of a monetary donation, but the forums work too. Today will make or break if I decide to go with the clan package. Too many other bugs along with worthless premium time have left me with no other option but to go big or go home, so I'm going to expect something big in return. Best of luck to them.

You sure you don't wanna give them a week to fix the Launch Module bugs first? Like the one where multiple premade groups can still drop on the same team?

Could you please take your criticsm elsewere? I haven't seen one in a while. I just want to thank them. I honestly havent seen 'a damn thank you thread every week'.

What's wrong with that? I appreciate their hard work, do you?

I'll take my criticism elsewhere if you get a new sarcasm detector. Sound fair?

You know... how there's so many thank you threads like one a week (that would be good...see?)

I'll say thanks when I stop being forced to play with a 30-40% handicap due to awful hit detection.

Though I do have a sliver of appreciation for private matches... If there were no premium time involved.

There is no premium time needed, but the game will need to be 24 man and you are basically getting a normal game, complete with a random map, and the rule of 3 mechs per weight class.

In other words, Sync dropping, without the sync needed anymore.

If you want a 2 vs 2, well you need premium time for that.

If that's true i'll be sticking to my guns on PGI not getting a dime off me.

If you want to eat that kind of server resource (full game instance of CPU and memory), you have to pay for it. It is a very reasonable requirement IMO.

I may get frustrated with things, and bust Russ, Bryan and Paul's chops when something makes no sense (or they try to pretend an issue doesn't exist) and I will rally the troops when something is really pooched, or annoying (like weapon scaling).

But I also readily admit I have essentially played no other game for the last 2 years, (those that I have are for a day here or there, and then forgotten) so for all the lapses or legit complaints, they are also clearly doing something MOSTLY right, so yeah, a big thank you is occasionally in order.

Nah, not how I see it. Let us host the duels on our own boxes, offloading it from the main servers. I just see nonstop cashgrab here. There's no way in hell I'll pony up for premium time when 30-40% of all my shots sail through enemies, harmlessly.

Yeah, I'm a frugal sonofagun.

Read the patchnotes.

Here, here. I agree. I see a lot of threads that complain bitterly about PGI, and whatever faults there may be I see a company that patches early and often, and pays attention to what goes on inside their game.

Besides that the game is extremely fun and a dream come true for decades-long fans of the series. It gives me enough to think about in between short, action filled games.

Since most threads are filled with bitter, incredibly dramatic statements that just aren't appropriate given that we're talking about a computer game that we play for fun, we should stop for a minute and remind PGI that we do enjoy the product on the whole.
