No critical bugs found. And the minor things should be fixed in the next months...

Good, spotting. It appears that is the case, unless they expanded Canyon and made the Junkyard bigger. It looks like some kind of Scrapyard/Factory Map

Yeha the Units, we want and need this ^^ + a better ingame chat system, the current one is crap.

why can't I use chat when the server is searchign for a match?
Why does typed stuff in the ready up screen of a match disappear when we get into the cokpit? So many small and annoying features.

There are clan mechs, not an invasion. Subtle difference i know ;)

What invasion? really...
Where can i go fight IS forces?, what planets are being fought over? There is no invasion going on, nothing has changed at all as far as gameplay goes nothing, nada, zilch.
OHHH you mean you have new mechs you can ONLY use if you pay real money.
No new maps, no new game modes, no IS vs Clan fighting, what nothing, nada, zilch ? Just new mechs for $?
Thats your hype about an invasion? Just Mechs for $. Pokemechs, got to get them all.
And i hear the launch went (lets be nice, not well, again)... well there is the bribe i suppose.
Hype + more hype + you know what, but nothing else except ..you got it more mechs for $.
Man im really pleased i payed for the founders, access to this forum has given me more laughs than watching comedys on TV..

Please, please, please add the ability to upload a PNG to be used as a Unit symbol on Mechs! It would make things SOOOO much easier. Also, please make sure that people's names in-game can then include a Unit designation like [BSA] Toadflakz, for example.

When looking at the picture with all the clan mechs, all I can think of are popsicles.
Lots and lots of popsicles, freshly purchased from the icecream truck.

I have to admit that this isn’t really handled all well.

I’m usually easy going, relaxed and quite forgivable towards all the delays and broken promises from PGI/IGP.
I’m still enjoying this game and I ended up buying a Timber Wolf (just the Timber Wolf) even though I promised myself not to get any Clan stuff.
I played all three variants and I really like them all.

Though calling this an invasion is really weird. Was the Phoenix package an invasion as well then?
We have no CW or even any kind of faction battles, why pretend as if we have?

Sounds like they are going on as if we had already two years of CW behind us and if we keep fighting for planets on a daily basis. And now we suddenly end up fighting against an overly powerful foe that is taking planets away from us by the hour and we have to unite to fight them off.

All we have is Team Deathmatch though!

I hate to say it. But after 50+ matches against mostly clan tech...... the game has become pay to win. The clan mechs are balanced against other clan mechs agreed. But are far superior to IS tech. I know, this is the way it goes in the lore of the game. So, yes, before you all start jumping down my throat. I am taking some time off of MWO. Maybe a couple of patches worth. See how the balancing plays out. I will be back. Keep hunting and killing mechwarriors.

Regarding unit creation: Will there be a way for existing units to reserve their names/tags ahead of release? While I'm not specifically worried for the Golden Foxes, I do see the potential for problems with someone stealing a name out of malice/spite/forthelulz.

Yep, I'm definitely a part of that thread. However, I really think PGI should give unit commander's a say, perhaps in private circumstances, to help really determine what needs to go into the Unit Creation business, as well as Contracting and Objective-Based Conflict.

Regarding the balance. I don't know, I think the balance is quite good. I don't see the Clan Mechs been so superior.
So for the Team Deathmatch Part, I think that PGI did a great job.

But with CW I'm hoping that we'll get somekind of lore gamemodes too where the weapons are closer to the lore. I really would love to have IS vs Clan were the Clan weapons have not been nerfed down.

EDIT: I'd be fighting on IS side, just as an FYI. :)
