Softening The Stomps

So I had this (most likely very stupid) idea:
Reinforcements!
When a team is having 6 (or 8) more kills than the enemy team, respawn 4-6 of the dead players, fully rearmed/repared - just one time per match, per team. Or possibly allow completely new players to enter the match as reinforcements.
There are some problems that need to be solved, like where do you spawn those mechs, which mechs to select for the respawn, how much to increase game match time and so on.

The only Problem the matchmaker has are the number of Stomps people are willing to accept, because it is somewhere between 0 and zero.
Edit: im still for more Gamemodes however they look like.

Hopefully the Solo Que will FINALLY force members of Team Derp to look into the real reasons they lose matches so badly...

Just wow.
Noone bothers to mention the guys running around in 3PV, shooting their teammates in the back, standing in the open...wandering off on their own....
I can't speak for the group queue, but in the PUG....dude....it doesn't matter what the weight class divisions are or how many LRMs each team brings...it all boils down to whichever team has the most "new players" in it. If you've got the most mouthbreathers, you lose.
Every. Single. Time.

Actually it was evil premades causing stomps before PGI implemented separate queues. The new group queue is far more refined and solo queuing is actually fun again.

I think some of your solo compatriots would disagree.

You were weighed, measured and found wanting. Try harder next time.

As one of his solo compatriots I disagree with him. I see just as many stomps as I ever did, and the solo queue is less enjoyable for me without the groups around.

Sorry pal I have to disagree with you it has been fun and I find 90% of my battles are very close games. Now I see all the premade players coming over to the solo/pug/casual MM queue and saying crapp like =(noobs, ********,ETC) because they can no longer Seal Club the pug/new players.
And I say to the Premade groups if you come play on the pub/solo MM queues and you start your shitt go back to the group queues and stay there.
NO MORE OF THIS AND IM GLAD

Exactly.
I don't see why this has to be an "either / or" situation that affects the current match types. Just create a respawn game mode with longer matches that allows reinforcements. More options = good, and this new game mode wouldn't require the creation of any new assets (maps, mechs, etc.), which saves money.
Personally, though, I think it shouldn't be true "respawn" but rather "reinforcements." Basically, you pick a primary mech at match start and then your reinforcement mech, which must be different, and that's it. You get one "respawn," but in the second mech. I guess there could be an endless respawn mode, where people keep coming back and when the timer runs out, points are totaled up for victory (kills, points on conquest, whatever.)
Either way, this should be an optional new game mode, not a forced change to the current ones, IMHO.

Agreed.
If one team gets more derpy players than the other, they will lose.
The Solo queue has improved since groups were removed...but until Matchmaker starts using a tighter valve on player skill/experience, the occasional stomp is going to happen.
They need to start taking KDR and other stats into consideration when matching players, not just W/L.

For starters I am not your pal, nor am I interested in being your pal because you clearly complain too much. That being said what I said is accurate for me. I have seen just as many stomps as I ever have, and I was happier when the groups were around. My personal experiences are not your personal experiences. You may not agree, and frankly I don't care. So feel free to continue pointing the finger at others for your own shortcomings.

Well PAL hahha just like OK and you are the one complaining but you have your opinion like everyone else. If your happier with groups don't let me stop you from staying in the group MM queue? I personally see so many sad unhappy premade players now that come onto the solo/pug queues and ***** and cry on the chat constantly. So please by all means go back to your group MM queues to cry.

Up above me is a statement on why I don't play premade groups much a lot of Premades players/groups they think in there wisdom that all MWO players in the solo/pug/casual MM queues are derpy-noobish and incompetent players. Then they cry because they cannot control the solo/pug mm anymore and seal club players and start saying terrible comments in chat .

MM system along with the ELO system matching new bad ranked ELO players with good ones is a mistake and stupid.
By all means what would be ideal is ELO (range) match ups thus eliminating any "bad" of players. Your rank is averaged in a smaller bracket range and your matching is too min maxed to a certain point.
I.e. Say I have a 500 ELO rating... (Allow) people with a 425-575) to make up that drop. TURN OFF that crap of HIGH ELO, Ohh.. I have an idea.. I will then throw in the worst player ever with a LOW ELO rating ... that will balance out the bad vs good concept.
Whoever thought that up was rushing code and really did not think that through. ADD IN another factor of time in game, so here is what you get:
You get even more of a balanced drop due to ELO ratings being closer to each other... so that the teams have a more balanced (less noob) ambiance to them due to that rating alone.. BUT THEN add in time in game or grade... so THEN.. you even have more of a balance... NOT only do you get a person that is closer to your level but also time in game so you dont have that idiot trying to run in circles... standing all alone in a corner of a map... (Or at least YOUR ODDS) are better to have a good solid match of people of your peer group in game.
No more "HEY I JUST GOT THIS NEW MECH AND I HAVE 4 small lasers cause they fire faster"... on your team.
Another thing this does is allows each group to each have their fun... maybe that one guy likes to die.. maybe he wants to be bad and really doesn't care... This allows him to do that and be amoung his peers.
Everyone wins... If a player gets better he gets put into a different group....
Again this is all logical not something unreasonable.
