The vindicator will come with ECM
Because it makes absolute zero sense as to why they would give it ECM they will indeed give it ECM just for ECM's sake.
Actually it would make perfect sense for them to give the VND-4L ECM, but it's unlikely we'll get that version, since I doubt they're going to put stealth armor in the game any time soon.

The victor is just an undersized highlander, no point its DOA..remember those claims ?

But it's not what we NEED
What we need is a Phoenix hawk! Yes I know it will never happen and that is just fine but they can still try out their MW licencing powers and design a custom mech that fits the bill
A very fast jump capable 45 ton battlemech with a decent array of energy and light ballistics
It's the mech the IS deserves, but not the one it needs right now.

It was until the HGN was heavily nerfed.
Which is quite comical when you think about it. They shifted the meta from the C-Bill 733C to the MC Dragon Slayer.

It probably still needs 2 missile hardpoints. I hate solo missile hardpoints unless you are willing to troll with NARC.
The engine cap is going to be the same as the BJ-1X, which is 295... AND it has JJs. 117kph med with JJs...
The Trebuchet-3C has nothing on this mech... neither is the Centurion-D (with the latter being pretty good to a degree).

Yep. I also remember people saying that about the Shadow Hawk. It ended up being the best mech to come out of the Phoenix pack and one of the best Mediums period.
Oh and the Timber Wolf too because of the missile pods attached to the side torso.
Yea, people prematurely claim a lot of mechs are DOA before they launch just to be proven wrong. Well except those Locust haters lol.

Well, the armor values on the Lolcust don't lie.
Yea, honestly most people saw that coming. That is why I'm surprised people still want the Flea. I'm guessing they are hoping that MASC will break the hit registration so badly that they will become invincible if they are moving.

you mean like the Arrow COULD have been had they not given it such a ridiculously low engine cap?

Well, we're "still" waiting for that CryEngine upgrade (good luck with that when CryEngine development is essentially over), that'll "increase the engine cap" so they don't warp all over the place... but since the ETA of the Flea is indefinite and such a change would most likely break existing stuff (poor risk reward), it isn't going to happen anytime soon. So many things would have to "just work" and seeing the "CryEngine upgrade" during Open Beta... it broke quite a number of things (HUD, visuals like mech legs on land, performance depending on the system you were running).

Edit: As to some comments above: The Locust isn't all that bad. I don't use them for anything but conquest, but there it is fun. I even have a kdr above 2 with the 3M and ~35 games played. I would buy the Flea, no matter how many ppl bash it.

But seriously, it could fill a role that the Trebuchet failed to do as a 50 tonner...
Then again, I don't know its stock hardpoints to make an informed assessment.
The trebuchet failed because like the kintaro, is AS BIG A ******* MADCAT

From House LIao we have the Vindicator, 45 ton, PPC right arm, medium laser head, LRM-5 left torso, and small laser left arm.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the Locust, I still use my Locust 3M from time to time. I have about a 1.4 KDR with it. Still, she is an unforgiving ride. She is the most unforgiving light in the game.

Well, fortunately Paul can't draw (I got confirmation from Alex), so imagine how bad things would be if Paul was the art director...

1AA runs @ 81KPH stock (before speed tweak), and therefore will have the same 295 engine cap the BJ-1X has.
