Back when in closed beta, LBX10 was generally a damage filler mech... in other words, the damage you deal often times does not reflect how much actual concentrated damage you dealt (which was actually very little in reality). Getting 1000 damage with LBX is actually unimpressive.

I am talking about stripping IS mechs and putting them back again in different order. chaning the engine and whole load out.
Dude nice name. Oh yea, this does happen, again, again, again, again, again, again, again, again.
Sandpit,Deathlike, and rain. again, again, again, again. Yet these guys can tell from my age my personal experiences.

So... you've committed to muscle memory on how to build mechs.
Brilliant.
I had no need for this in UI 1.5. Truly Lostech.

I'm not even sure if that was addressed to me, so I'll just pretend it didn't happen.

TBH, we really don't want to know and don't want to hear about them. Simply in the act of doing what you are doing is showing everyone all we kinda need to know just based on what you're saying (so, you're giving us the wrong impression at the very least). Does your clan even know you're doing this?

If you guys want to know I was having a discussion similar to this yesterday with about 8 members of my clan and no one brought up my age, and they know I am 22.
Just you same guys over and over again, seems like trolling.
As a matter of fact people did this the last time I made my UI 2.0 thread and my clan thought I was trolling people and had to explain its the same people that just get into it with me. Derailed the whole topic for nothing.
Thx for telling me how to ignore. Real tired of having these sorts of discussions on the MWO forums, and only on the MWO forums.

Congrats? You know... you say so many things, and we actually put a decent counter to your responses... only to be deflected and ignored (in terms of the argument itself) instead of properly debating the issue. I'm not saying I haven't lost my fair share of debates and discussions, but you're kind doing all the things that make yourself look bad, w/o help from anyone else. I'm learned such a lesson a long time ago.

I have not really brought up your age. Others have. Right now, you're showing your age in that you are not debating the merits of the argument, rather you are saying "my point is right, therefore you are wrong" and the logical conclusion ensures (aka, mostly people responding to you in not so nice tones).

It's probably because of how you are expressing it.
For instance, you create threads "wanting people to side with your position" only to find many people on the opposite end with legitimate points and decide to drop the discussion because it wasn't in your favor. That is actually how you lose "forum cred" for a lack of a better term. Nothing good comes from that, and it follows you until you admit you were wrong or at least admit that while you disagree, you have to accept what your opposition is saying. You refuse to accept it, thus the "battles" continues, except that's actually only in your own mind.

No, not in this particular case dude. Look, I'll put it in a less derogatory manner. There's a bit of a generation gap here that you won't understand for about another ten years or so. That's mot demeaning you in any way, that's just the way society works. That's not to say you'll wake up one morning and be a cynical sarcastic old cuss, but you'll have changed your views on a few things. That's just the way life works. That's not a bad thing, that's just a fact. The older you get, the more your views on things change. That only comes with experience, and no matter how intelligent, intellectual, and/or brilliant you may be, there is absolutely no way you have more experience in ANYthing, let alone a mechwarrior game, than myself. That's just a fact jack.

Fix your process. There's no way in hell that any reasonably intelligent adult believes it has to cost $250,000 for every single map produced. If it DOES? Then that's PGI's problem, not mine. Act like a professional company that knows wtf you're doing instead of an indi developer who is programming their first game ever. You got "15 years experience" then act like it and produce like it.

250000 a map,
lets say 1/3 for licenses
lets say another 1/3 for what ever
and 1/3 of payment for the people.
Thats around 80000 for payment.
You say 12.5 an hour is what they get.
Thats 6500 hours for a map,
or 800s day with 8 workhours each,
or 8 people working on a map for more then 3 month.
Lets say they get 4000 a month,
then its still 4 people working 100 days on 1 map?
Looks not that believeable for me ...
but what do i know?
Did i miss something?
Did change anything?

The reason why your clan thought you were trolling people is probably because your position was ill thought out and poorly defended. There are actual Computer Science related stuff that is actually legitimate criticism of the implementation of UI 2.0. The fact you choose to ignore it or even properly counter it outside of "I use it just fine" does not end people's legitimate complaints about it. That's why there are expansive UI 2.0 whine threads. They didn't exist because it was "fun to whine" about it. It's about making their lives easier to lab. That isn't actually an unreasonable request.

If you choose to selectively ignore arguments, I cannot help you on your research on it. The one thing about forum discussions are references and actual quotes.. the kinds of stuff required in doing papers for in real life. If you refuse to do your part, then you have no argument to stand on. Papers based on sheer opinion and have no basis in fact get mocked and ignored. Same goes here. If you don't want to do the research, don't complain about it and assume "other people" are ignorant or clueless. That's why you get the reaction that you do.

maturity has nothing to do with age and it doesn't make ones arguments better.
That's something the self entitled kids trapped in the bodies of the 30-50 year olds posting on this forum don't understand.
especially the ones you specifically mentioned.
