Mauler needs to be on that list make up a version of it if there isn't 3 I don't care. Or figure out a way past the basics with only 2 versions of that mech. I certainly don't want to see a 3rd 80 ton mech before seeing a second 90 toner.

I chose Charger.

Lets face it... the lore is rich.
And lets also be perfectly honest... For a Charger to truly work we'd need... melee or at least knockdowns.

*Swoons.*

(I know I'm flat out day dreaming but let me dream.)

Might I suggest hardpoint layouts?
(E = energy, B = ballistic, M = missile)

ZEU-6S: 3E, 2B, 2-3M

ZEU-5T: 4-5E, 3M

ZEU-5S: 3E, 3B, 1-2M

I set the hardpoint goal to roughly 7-8 per variant to line up with the Victor. Since the Zeus lacks jump jets, I think it wouldn't be unfair for the Zeus to get an extra hardpoint.

They've already mentioned they are making/made a Mauler.

I suspect that the list is to see which mech to include in an IS reinforcement pack in the assault position.

They're asking about these 'Mechs, people, not what other ones you want to see. They're just trying to see which of these three are the most popular.

The charger pipped my curiosity as a fast moving assault with JJs but in the end I chose the Zeus because I am thinking that JJ changes may induce players not to use them. Still, a fast assault mech without JJs could be fun :)

Thanks for the poll and being open to our reading our thoughts Russ.

Cheers!

Either the Zues or Cyclops to me. How ever the Cyclops has the same top speed, 10 more tons, maybe similar weapons load out.

If they did that...

They would be between 3 and 6 stories tall...which is about the height of an MWO Commando to the height of an MWO Hunchback.

Quote

The height of each storey is based on the ceiling height of the rooms plus the thickness of the floors between each pain. Generally this is around 10 feet or 3 metres total, however it varies widely from just under this figure to well over it.

Quote

BattleMechs from 20 to 100 tons will range from 8 meters in height or length to 14 meters in height or length with only select exceptions.

o.O; Comparing a tank that without the barrel is 8.56 meters and with the barrel is in excess of 10 meters, to a person, to a car in MWO, to a mech in MWO...
You'll see one very, very tiny 80 ton battlemech that a Hunchback might push around by being taller. :P
Man o War, a giant, would be approximately the height of a Centurion, minus the fin, at 14.1 meters as one of the largest battlemechs in the 20 to 100 ton range to exist in 3050. (the Centurion is 14.7 meters in MWO).
Spoiler
