It would seem that as long as solo and groups of all sizes come to CW there will be a lot of opportunities for just about everyone. I am liking the looks of it so far.

The more that participate the more variance there should be. After all it wouldn't be the first game to have large scale objective maps with all sorts of people playing them. It's a video game not an exclusive tree house club.

Let the groups play CW in there own MM queues when you start mixing a 12 man premade Vs a 12 man solo group were just back to where we were at the end of Closed Beta =a mess and many upset players.

It's for the same reason Lassaiez Faire capitalism as well as total central planned economics are dangerous.

We're not going to have a CW solo queue, that just doesn't make sense.
Right now they are super duper going to get rolled because right now there is no elo no MM of any kind planning on protecting them. Which means that if you want to win in CW, and a lot of people do, they are going to take the time to form groups because a bigger group will be even more valuable in CW with a FIFO system than a bigger group is in group queue.
The people who can't or won't even get a pick up group together are probably going to get rekt more often than not.
But CW is supposed to be even more tryhard than group queue. So casual solo play not being supported should not be a surprise or an offense to anyone should it?
The way the latest design doc for CW reads, there is no restrictions at all on solo players participating. Anyone with the appropriate faction alignment can queue up and be matched into a team for any planet, attacking or defending action.

At the launch event their design document had the Solo Que pushing the fronts opening up planets for conquest for the group que.... it eludes me why they would go away from this design... it was solid and meaningful for the solo players.

There was no solo queue at game launch, and as CW requires faction matching you can't have a solo CW queue.

How would you know this unless you want to state you work for PGI are Russ or Brian and know this to be true?
If this is the case and solo fill in players are going to pitted against premade groups then CW will fail badly and this game will have a short life span.There is no player in gamming that likes to be rolled and farmed 24/7 by groups every online game that has had this format has either dies off or had to change there MM to allow solo and group type drops and gameplay.

Now they may "our position at the time" it down the road. But we can and should speak in absolutes for clarity's sake if nothing else when talking about systems they have told us about in this latest round of design docs.
FIFO. No solo queue. No MM of any kind so far is what they say. Solo players used just like small groups are in the group queue to fill missing spots in a drop.
That's how they say it is gonna work. I don't need to be PGI to read PGI's posts and understand them. Not even sure what your issue with reading comprehension is...
