Posted ImageI did get all 20 valid wins. Not that hard, played as Clan Heavy bracket.

I am currently rank 93 with 1965 points on the ladder. Could have improved more on the score i guess. But 1965 score is pretty respectable imo haha. That means I have 10games that I scored 196.5 scores on average, maybe a few of them were past the 200points mark.

I am pretty surprised that I did so well despite I consider myself a noob :P

Ended up with 36 place in IS Lights with a score of 2038 and 33 valid wins. I don't want to do this again. I only had 2 exceptional matches of 7 kills and over 1000 damage. The rest were all probably around 4-5 kills and 600-700 damage. I tried to play very aggressive and ended up playing very badly most of the time. I wasn't trying to tag everyone with a ML just to get assists, but maybe I should have since I would have made top 15 if I had just about 1 more assist in each game.

Problem as a light in this challenge is that to do the kind of damage that you need to do to get a good score, you have to have a bad team so that they don't take the damage and kills away from you since you can't carry the weapons they do, but you also have to pull out the win. I think this would have been a much less stressful challenge if I tried playing Assaults or Heavies.

I should have just not played until the last 2hrs. Finally had a string of good games that brought me up from 42nd to 10th on Clan Heavy.

Probably the most aggressive tournament I've played to date.

I didn't really understand the rules and I"m stilll bad so didn't get anything all weekend. I managed to get 1 win yesterday on my 2x ERPPC 2xAC10 FLDPPA 40 Ilya. It overheats like hell though. :P

Climbed up to 45 then dropped back down to 55 tonight with 35 valid matches, mostly in my Mad Dog MDD-A. I switched it out after I hit my 10 mil cap to my TBR-C and S for a bit.

100% this

Did some crazy fantastic games in my ember but my team got rolled constantly.

gave up early and just played in 3 man groups and larger so much more fun.

I feel you there. Some of my best matches were lost to some games that just left you speechless.

Looks like I scraped in 53rd on Clan Lights with 13/20 C-bill wins.

Not particularly happy with that performance. I was hoping for at least top 50 and naturally that's a lot of C-bills I missed out on. Someone I know of and have spoken to being in the top 15 added an extra hint of shame, I'll have to hang my head slightly next time I see them.

Clearly my builds aren't optimal for this style and put simply, I clearly was not good enough.

I enjoyed seeing so many good players in the solo queue, had a lot of loughs and generally a good time.

I wish PGI would lower the required points for the cbill bonus though as it seems a bit too high for the casual or new players in trial mechs.

I played on IS medium and heavy. It's been hard because I'm a team oriented player, but I think I've managed to do what I always do: 1-2 kills per match and an around 400 dmg.
I was thinking that I was good. But now I'm not so sure about it
This meant only 5 valid wins, and I'm around 300 position in both brackets.

I don't understand if I simply suck, or if I'm a average.

managed to fight my way into #10 in IS MEDIUMS, holy crap was that hard..

Did it just because I love mediums, didn't see any point trying to compete in the Assault/Heavy brackets against madcats and diashi.

Did just fine in my AC20 shadowhawk and Hunchback-4P though.

Nabbed my 20 wins for the cbills. Finished at 22 for clan (KF in support gear) lights and 119 for IS lights. Last time I tapped 17th in IS lights but I did use the Locust for a lot of those scores. Mostly ran the Ember this time. I think part of the reason for not doing as well this time was the abundance of assaults and their alphas.

Overall the tourney was fun but I kinda hope they knock kills down to 15 points or add a multiplier to the FF equation. Something like, do 20 dmg to team mates and the system deducts 60 dmg from the equation.

I did have a fun death moment. I was walking around with just my right side arm and leg when a big bad popped over the hill and alpha'd me. This left me with nothing but a damaged head. I had never seen one of my mechs so completely destroyed.

17 from 20 quality wins. 8.5 mill out of 10 possible is ok i think.

got 2 days of playing in with quite a few breaks. Made another 10 mill just from games played.

Was chasing the freebie space cash and as a side note ended up 76th overall for clan assaults while chasing the cash.

yes i had 2 direwhales with the same build and modules for ease of starting a new match if i had a horrible match and died early.

I dropped in the innersphere mediums expecting very little in the way of real competition good lord was I wrong. I was holding the rank 15 but was bumped off in the last hour >.< Me and my uac cicada had a great run I was even holding rank 3 for the better half of the first day >.< Next time I am gunna stick with the heavy bracket or assault bracket looking at the scores I know I coulda competed better in those fields.

I ended being bumped to rank 17.

Almost broke top 200 in clan heavies using nothing but Mad Dogs (was at 201st briefly, final ranking of 264th with 1815 points). Got 10 qualifying wins for bonus c-bills, so I'll take my 5 million c-bills, TYVM. ;)

i spent the better part of sunday and monday playing it. got 19 qualifying wins and ended up 42 in heavys last i checked, and under 337 in clan mediums witn my nova. i found lrm boating was necessary to reliable have a chance at 130+, nova won 4 suprising me, orion protector won 3 it was always so close to 130, but just didnt have the runaway effect or burst a va had, which i modified from pure lrm to more of a mixed range build.and it won the other 12 matches..

Had fun, jet lagged to hell after being in the air longer than a day returning from the UK. Got to as high as no.42 fighting in my Twolves, Lucem Ferre, Light Bringer and Morning Star...

And I was all...

then... I got put with others with actual talent, unlike me, and I ended up with a final score of...

and this is how I felt!

Made 10mil though in 24 eligible games, improved my K/D to 1.14 making up for my appalling first few months in this game and made 118K xp to use on the next clan mech in wave 2 after the disappointment my Maddogs were and reached headshot victim no.41

you need to check your score. Mine was 1965 and rank 93 less than 20mins ago. There's no way your 1963 is rank 92 :D
